I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend!

Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

I will recommend to you to invest in well know cryptocoins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. They were good at long term investment since they have huge volume so it couldn't vanished in instant. Besides, their long term of existence is a proof that they will exist again for a long time.

now the best investment option is admissible for 20k $:
6,5k - one bitcoin
7k - equipment for mining
6,5k- buy different altcoyins.
so you have a very small chance of losing everything.

With this money I think you should buy BTC, because now BTC price is low and may increase again later this year, however I see many people recommend buying ETH, but to me ETH is not as earnest as BTC

I will suggest you spread your funds across the top coins in the market for long-term holding. Most specifically Bitcoin and Etherium because their current prices is appealing for most long term investors

Choose best coin that you think for longterm and start buying altcoin and hold it for few years and you will earn more profit and possible your 20k dollars turn into millions of dollars if you get a very potential altcoin in all time or the coin who next bitcoin.

Well i think it may be the best time to invest when you are having some knowledge and you are deficated on what you have been doing for. Most of the time some of us here are not choosing what are the best for but when you have good analyzation then you are good to be about on what you have to go for.

I recommend not to invest now because the market still in downtrend and more dips will show up soon. Be patient and ready to buy bitcoin at 5k$, then hold at least few month to get maximum profit.  Dont FOMO now, whales trying to fool you.

Well I know the reason behind your hesitation. The only reason that you feel uncertain about investment in the crypto is the down market. Besides, choosing a coin that rules the market is my choice of investment as well. But since business is all about earning money, the amount could also be spent in a traditional asset which normally gives away great profit. And even if you invest in Bitcoin, it will not hurt because it will recover soon.

Just saw that this post was made in 2016, so if the person had invested then when btc was even not up to $1000 he or she should still be in good profit despite the drop, earlier investment is good and timing as well.

I am sure, the man was on time to invest his money in Bitcoin. If he managed to sell his BTC in January 2018, he could buy even a real estate not or open any business.

With some of these i just looked at the ATH $ price and made sure there was nothing fundamentally wrong with the coin. if btc will really fly to 50k within a year, then im expecting most of these to at least match their previous ATH, so plenty of 10-30X to go around

I recommend you to make investment in different fields. Don't invest your full amount in one source. If you want to invest in crypto, then you should be mentally prepared to take risk. I recommend you to invest $10k in crypto and $10k in stock market.

If you still have that much of a money then buy XVG, Cardano, DGB, Litecoin by diving that money.
