I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend!

Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

If you did bought bitcoin that time 2016 march,for sure you are almost a millionaire in December 2017 when bitcoin hit the highest value of $19,870

If you are want longterm investment just invest your money to The altcoins and that amount of money is really big and it total of millions  to my country. You can try to invest it to the ethereum,  litecoin, riplle and bitcoin you can have other coins if you want remember the more coins you have the more profits you get. Mining is good but you have a lot of knowledge and you can know how does mining really works to avoid losing your capital or to bankrupt.

Lol this thread is from 2016 so theres no chance that he handles that same amount until today,but you are right about investing in altcoin but he must choose the top 20 crypto

You can invest in mining. It is highly profitable but there is a snag there which is you have to get a reliable manager to invest with. About 98% of them are scammers only about 2% are actually mining and will send returns. Do your research and find the few and invest. You can also have a look at www.grossbyte.com.

mining is now no longer promising, with the current market conditions, the expenses needed by miners will be greater than the mining revenues that are made.

For me it is good to use any of way to increase your money as crypto currency is promising as investment, as trading and mining too but the problem is only that mining is a little expensive otherwise there is no side effect. I would like to recommend you to invest your money in bitcoin as it is the most promising coin which gets high in price faster than all other altcoins.

Why should not I tell you that the market is full of so many great opportunities of investment and you can put in your money in any of them that interests you. But make sure you claim a part of the coins be them BTC or ETH because this has gotten huge potential and is having its circle expanded day by day. In every different investment,  there are always low risk low return,  medium risk medium  return and high risk high return , and if you want to make high profit you should be ready with high risk.  In my opiniom make invest in XRP is best option for now because this coin has potential  to raise 10x-20x in this year, because they has live product that used many third party.

Lol. You wrote the best possible outcome with these numbers and this calculation doesn't reflect reality from my experience. There are emotions that don't let trader, investor act with pure logic. If he was able to sell during all-time high levels then he will not come back to post here IMO.

When people say diversify your investment, you can choose from differnet options. You can choose to invest in some plots in your country if they have good potential. Also buying Gold can help. Rest can be invest in forex and crypto. It really does depends upon your own choice.  Everyone will recommend  you accourding to thier own will and thinking.

Yes, everyone will suggest according to his views about the market and his previous experiences about his investment. I think it is not a good idea to rely on other guides because it will work only to those guys and it will not work for us. So it is always good to research before investing in any project, gold etc.

I'm glad that you still have trust in ICO right now.

Anytime we can change the percentage of distribution on our investment because the market also changes.
There is no fixed method in trading or investing, for me, I would just pass the ICO right now, instead focus only on buying cheap coins and hold.

As prices have come down below 4K it is again the good time to invest as we have seen movement does exists in this market and due to which price also rose so do not hesitate to keep investing till market is at low price . Once the bull run comes it will grow very fast .

This price i think already perfect to buy, because like in last pump. People will start to buy again because they believe if bull run will come soon. Maybe even it is not pumped much, if something like last pump happen again we can take profit from that.

Very true! I wouldn't limit $20k in crypto- it's far too volatile. Even if it weren't, I would still spread my investements into stocks, crypto & save some for emergencies.
