I have used moneygram over 20 times with no problems. The coins are usually there before I get home. Earlier, I sent around 300 and I have gotten a email confirmation from zip zap, but not bitInstant. This is worrying me...not to mention I was trying to get an express order out tomorrow. Is this normal? I emailed the support@bitinstant.com, but I have not gotten a response.

As far as a time frame I have no idea but Id say as long as you have record of the deposit such as a copy of the deposit slip to reference that they will get you sorted out. I wouldn't worry too much about it however that is a bit disheartening.

Thanks...I figured I would just have to wait and work it out tomorrow. I was just hoping a bitinstant mod would see this, and help me. I did email support@bitinstant.com, but no response yet. Has anyone had to wait long? I made the deposit around 9:15PM CST.

Will update...

"Our service aims to make most deposits happen instantly - within a matter of seconds in ideal cases, and in an absolute worst-case scenario we will still aim to have funds into your exchange account before a stated maximum deadline (on average about 60 minutes depending on various conditions). We are an agent of the exchanges. So, when you pay us, you have effectively paid the exchange. If we screw up and fail to deliver on time, we will always investigate and we will always refund our fees. Our service should never take longer than other means of deposit into an exchange account. "

I have never heard of anyone having to wait that long and its totally against everything they stand for and strive to provide so I would hope they would compensate back the transaction fees at the very least.

Try posting in the Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=128314.0

You'll probably get a faster answer that way.

Sent another $60 this morning. Got back to my computer and the $60 was there. Then, about 30 minutes later, the $300 showed up. Weird, because I had not gotten a bitinstant confirmation email either.
Anyway, support never got back with me, but everything is good now!

As Danny said, ask in the thread stickied above. They're really quick in resolving such problems so just relax and ask them politely.
