I've also been working on a LiteBar pool, but I wanted to make sure it was paying blocks properly before I announced it. (It is!) It's no frills, but it works.

Point your miners at:

-o stratum+tcp://ltb.somecoins.xyz:7111 -u <your wallet address> -p x

Port 7111 is vardiff, you can also use port 7112 if you have a high hashrate or a rental and want a static diff of 8192. You can check out some minimal stats at http://ltb.somecoins.xyz.

Pool fee is 1% plus any network transaction fees. Blocks are paid out as soon as they mature, which seems to be ~75 ~90 confirmations at the moment. The more hash on the network the faster that'll go. Smiley

Happy mining!

Pool is temporarily down due to a hardware fault at the hosting provider. I'm in touch with them and will post when it's back. Hope those of you mining there have failovers set up.  Sad

EDIT: We're back. No coins lost, payouts are resuming.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Also lost 843 BTB. Again...fuck you Paul Vernon.

please tell me you mined all those instead of paying top dollar for them.. Shocked

looking back I glanced and saw BTC instead of BTB...not so bad now lol but that still sucks..if only there was a way to "FDIC" crypto..

I asked the poolmaster@H2C if he would add LTB and he said OK!

Litebar should get some more good exposure I think now.  Grin

WoW! it's already live! That was seriously fast.

do not use coinpools as your pool I was the only person mining there from 4/25-4/30 and all the blocks say unknown finder and none have been credited to me. I have pm the owner and nothing. so use caution you wont get your coins.

from the coinpool site "We are investigating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP."

It's been posted for a few weeks that I know of.
Let us know what they say to your PM (if they get back to you)

Hey Spidersbox, How often do they update the block explorer's top 100 list? I don't even see my address anywhere.

add: just checked my address in the search and nothing found....

just checked diff and blockcount and they match what is shown at the blockexplorer

add: I should be in first place for current balance and 3rd for received coins.

I'm skerred..

I've only ever solo mined them....

ok..even more wierdness.. I put my latest txid into the search and that shows up...what the heck doooooooooooooooooooooooooooood?

just put my oldest txid in and it does not show up... but has 18401 confirmations at this time according to my wallet.

It looks as if all the blocks I found before 4/4/2014 14:34 are not showing in the block explorer... I think I see why my address isn't showing up anywhere either is because when solo mining when each bar is generated it's "sent" to a new address everytime. That and if those blocks before 4/4 @ 14:34 aren't showing up then they aren't being counted.. I'm thinking about sending my entire balance to myself which should put all the litebars in one address.

I'm going to wait and see what you think first.

I don't put much faith in the Litebar block explorer. I'm # 1 on the list, but the balance is 884 less than my wallet shows.
I would have preferred to use the same block explorer as Bitbar does but nobody would come up with the .8 BTC to bay for it - so I paid .05 BTC for the one we have.

Try the block explorer at Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/BlockExplorer?coin=LTB they don't have  top list, but it is another explorer to use to see if you can find your txes.

my balance is in the 11000 range..but I'm afraid it might end up being less than half that...I'll check cryptopia's block explorer and if I can't find the older ones oh well i guess..  Cry

One thing i noticed while looking at my transactions in the tx tab of the wallet is some say like "6400 confirmations" and some say like" 6400 confirmations, broadcast through 17 nodes" but some with just the latter still show up in the block explorer. at this point I haven't been to cryptopia yet.

WoW that blows.. atleast it wasn't a mt gox or cryptsy sized incident

I found my oldest tx at cryptopia. My crisis is over... Roll Eyes I was so worried. I think I will send them all to myself and see what happens. Have you done that yet? oh wait, you have your own pool you mine on and don't solo right? So they would all go to the same address anyway I guess.

Right - I mine my own pool - If the database screws up, I don't have to figure out who to send what, I just send it all to me  Smiley

You might want to go with small blocks of ?maybe 20? it will keep the tx fee down, and have a better chance of moving more bars - in case you have some 'bad' bars

those pesky 'bad' bars.. giving me the chills.

I will do some math to figure out maybe the cheapest way to send them.

I don't really understand how the tx fee is determined.

Where or how can I find that out?

I don't remember the tx fee. I think it starts at .0001 ltb then goes up as the size of the transaction goes up.
It's easier with Bitbar and the coin control. as you click to add a block - it shows the transaction size.

Without coin control, you just have to do it. You can always cancel when it tells you how much the fee is.
