Say something about bitcoin, I think it should be best to start with the terminology first, if you can write it, do it, but it would be best to do a video of it..No need to give them the list of shops and exchanges that accepts bitcoin, they will learn them as they start to use bitcoin, just give them a couple of those sites...

until now i I never could teach people about bitcoin. I prefer to say "please see at google and understand it" People like to hear informations from other people they trust, rather then to find it on Google. It's much better way to convince someone on advantages that Bitcoin have and to explain him everything that he needs to know. And they will probably pass that information to others, so it's double effective.

Visualization is much easy to understand than just saying it.

As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?
It depends on the culture and educational background of a person you want to explain bitcoin to.An educated person can simply be directed to wikipedia page of bitcoin or can be explained in details.Explaining to an uneducated is a tricky part and involves some innovative ways on your part I think providing information about bitcoin not complicated and difficult as it is basically humans love with something which is making them profitable. money will talk then they will be interested

until now i I never could teach people about bitcoin. I prefer to say "please see at google and understand it" Before telling the people to google it, it is required that you should at least tell something about Bitcoins, its online usage and create some interest before telling him to see at google and understand it.

You must first win their trust that Bitcoin is very safe to use and that it will have a good future like, that it will be the most used payment method in the future and that it is good that it will be more used later. Than you can tell how you get some Bitcoins and how you must work with it, that will be good if you can teach that.

I would try first with people that has a background on conventional finances, or a background in computers and is somewhat of a nerd. All other profiles of people will just simply not get it, and will not get interested unless you tell them about the speculative aspect of the asset, and it's potential to reach $100,000+ per coin in the next decade, then they will start paying attention

the most proper way to teach someone about bitcoin is show them how you earn, make transaction, and trade that bitcoin, and then tell him about bitcoin mean. if that someone still not understand, you can give him some satoshi when he finish create wallet.

I have teached my mother and other not very tech saavvy people just saying that it is internet/electronic money. Almost everybody knows nowaday money is somehow on computers (computers in banks, etc, credit cards) so at a shallow level they tend to understand it.
It is harder to explain it is decentralized, peer to peer and all that.

I think people who have that background is more easily to teach people about bitcoin. And i think you can show your income and how much the price for each bitcoin. People will shock because it's very expensive.

Me: "You know two girls and a cup"
Them: "Yeah"
Me: "With bitcoin you can play director"
I find you establish it by connecting it to something crazy. Once you back off from that you can explain bitcoin. Aim high and sell low. Sales trickery!

Show him your wallet and the its value in dollars, I am sure it will sparkba persons interest. Then, when he starts asking questions, that is the only time you have to explain what bitcoin is. Or even if he do not ask questions directly to you, if you got his interest, he will surely do a quick internet research.that saves you the trouble of explaining what bitcoin is.
