As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?
teaching people about bitcoin is easy way,if we show them how bitcoin work,if we show them the bitcoin video and any good movie documentary about bitcoin, they should understand with that.

I wish it was that easy. People should be well aware of bitcoin right now if it was that easy. Send some people a good bitcoin movie and.they will readily accept it? I don't think so.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Documentary surely help users to learn and know much about bitcoin than getting explanation from users. Few movies had shown the bitcoin transaction. If users look at those movies and go through documentaries relating to bitcoin will know something about bitcoin without someone's help.

YouTube videos good. but if you want to teach some one your nearly person. like your family member and friend. then just convince him with sharing your own experience and showing them how much you can earn from bitcoin.
YouTube videos tutorials would be good Idea for online friends and contacts.

The best way that I would do it is to introduce them to this forum and advise them to ask all their questions to us. They will get the answers straight away and you have barely done anything!!! Smiley Smiley Smiley

probably the quickest thing is to find things about bitcoin via the internet, or google, and only if there are questions that have no answers google about bitcoin, then joined the one in this forum.

Not in my opinion it will not make them understand about bitcoin. I think we need to tell bitcoin communicating directly because it would effectively make them understand directly about bitcoin. It is best to learn something is to learn directly from the person.

"learining by doing" usually works the best...

how about showing someone how to buy bitcoins on the exchange and what can you do with them later: store them in a wallet or use them for payment or remitannce.

I think the best way to teach is to do proper talk on how bitcoins doing, what can he get beniFits if he give a try bitcoin and tell him that he can also lose money if he is fooled by scammer and introduce him good paying faucet and make it as his training ground and bring him here in furom theres a lot of info he can get if he stays here.

I think the problem of newbies like is the attention span and some wants easy profit. Sad

A proper mind set would do.
nah you would not be wrong to choose bitcoin as a way to get easy profit. because in getting bitcoin there are a variety of ways and there are various ways that you can use with ease even there a way that does not require skill. we could tell outsiders that you can profit easily in bitcoin

Yes, for newbies the patience is really very hard, they do not want to wait even a day and want to earn a big pile of dollars or bitcoin within one day, but it is totally impossible especially at the time when you are new to a service.
Yeah I agree with you newbie still need to learn about bitcoin and somewhat long in bitcoin, so that you can understand the ins and outs of bitcoin,
after you experienced in bitcoin and you know a lot about bitcoin of course you will be shrewd in getting bitcoin

Then another +1 to the population of people asking crazy questions in this forum. Why don't you give him a background about bitcoin, atleast, instead of just saying "Visit bctalk forum and ask all your questions to the people there.". Is that how you teach someone? By saying that ask another person their question?

If he has a background about bitcoin then he will be able to understand some stuffs in this forum. Otherwise, he'll just end up making a new account, and make a new thread asking newbie stuffs when you can just personally teach him the basics.

Its better to ask them to sit beside  your laptop and show them how you work, try to show them practical and real life examples how they can also start earning money from it.

Send them video tutorial.  Smiley

Do that to me and I might ignore it. There are people who send videos that have some virus in it. Better to be there with him or her physically then teach him personally on how it is. Show the video yourself and explain some.

Sitting beside a user and understanding what the user does will not be effective until both get committed to it, as some feels it to be a boring subject when heard for the first time.

Video might not work for all of them, some of them must be interested directly to know how to start earning, so you can bring them on this forum and show them by posting and your weekly earnings.

Well, you can simply advice people to search on youtube for Bitcoin and what is Bitcoin and then they will get tons of informational videos. To people close to you you can explain them everything 1 on 1 but others must at least take the time and effort to do some research themselves.
