Teaching someone about Bitcoin is not that hard but there are somethings that even I do not understand about Bitcoin. So the best thing you can do is to let someone watch you while you do your thing on Bitcoin. This way they can watch carefully and observe somethings.

I don't even know what is teaching about bitcoin... people can't read or watch videos about different operations with bitcons? How lazy we are, it's a big problem nowdays.

Yeah it started with the previous generation and it seems to me that every generation becomes more stupid. I am aware that includes me too. But still it's sad. Their are 2 scenario;s.
1) Or you try to pick it up by reading a short manual, then losing and you probably never learn it.
2) Or you reserve some time and give it a real effort and eventually you get a hang of it...

say like me I have never heard the word bitcoin before how would I find out I wouldn't just type bitcoin in to google so what is the best way to tell everyone where I live  Roll Eyes

maybe it is just you!

because anybody else, when they find out about something new like bitcoin, especially since it is already computer related they pull out their phone, laptop, pc,... and start googling about it.

Yeah and google have all answers to your questions, so its nothing impossible to search nowadays, but google might confused you its better to learn from a person who is already into bitcoin.

You are right its better to learn it from a person that is already is using the bitcoin but the fact is that a video could also help you to learn something about the bitcoin of course.

Of course, videos can do a lot to help people understand bitcoin. But before that, you should get attention first and make them curious about bitcoin. If they are curious to know about bitcoin, you don't have to spoon feed them with videos. They will google it themselves. So, person to person communication is necessary first to make them know about bitcoin.

Google will help them in knowing bitcoin, and your personal attention will make things simple and easy to understand so both things are necessary to teach them.
Yes, but according to my information from Google about bitcoin is still less accurate and still very incomplete. A better way is to be informed directly about bitcoin. Because they will be easy to understand and can ask directly that they do not know the person he asked. Because learning from people who have experienced directly would be very easy to practice.

This could do the trick and while he or she is watching it you could tell him to ask questions whenever he dont understand something.
Thanks. Great advice here.

Best way to teach someone about BTC?
Find out where a btc merchant is in your area. Go there and by something with someone you think should know about BTC. And then let them ask you questions.
That's the best way.

Nothing to do with me its the kind of people in our country they're really quiet and seem to hide things so I can't just find out through thin air it normally comes from word of mouth or someone on the internet. I've been on youtube since late 2010 to now and I never heard about anyone talking about BTC on youtube or in public but the only way i knew about cryptocurrency was by joining a forum called mpgh and looking in the marketplace section i saw sellers asking for bitcoin.

But what if there is no merchant around who accepts bitcoin? As I am facing that problem, I don't have a single physical shop where I can buy anything using bitcoin.

It does not have to be a physical store. You can just show the person some online stores that accepts bitcoin and show him how easy to buy using it. I am sure he will appreciate the benefits of buying items online without the risk of others knowing credit card and personal information. In bitcoin, no id is needed, just bitcoin address.

That's true but I think first of all we need to teach them how to earn bitcoin, and we need to bring them to this forum and show them different ways of earning bitcoin.

I think explaining them plain and verbal will help them learn more about bitcoin and when questions come up to their mind. That's the good thing to use internet now and also the forum, let them join here so that they can surf around and read the topics as well. By learning themselves, is a really good thing for them to search out and learn about bitcoin.

Yeah and if they have any kind of confusion then we are always there to help them or explain them, and we will help them in clearing their doubts and that will make them feel comfortable.

It is true. but you also have to guide it, those new to bitcoin would be very difficult and confused with how to save bitcoin, and would be very wide selection of coins altcoin. maybe they will think they can find a coin which according to them more readily available in large numbers, such as dogecoin or the other. they probably never will just focus on bitcoin if we do not monitor

Ok then do the same exact thing online! Find an online merchant and buy with bitcoin. It is the same thing! Aren't we using digital cash after all? SO my point is still valid Wink

Try to show them how to earn money with bitcoin and that will surely attract them to know what bitcoin is and how to earn it.

if you teach them how to earn money of course they will interested but you need tell them first about bitcoin so if they are still interested you can teach them how to earn money with bitcoin. imo people will interested if you tell about money they will not care about the future of bitcoin.

Sounds like a hasty generalization, we have different primary goals.

Here's the list:

To earn money
To be able to satisfy their daily needs
To be able to buy what they want
To be able to achieve convenient living

well, for me. My primary goal is to be ably to get things I want.

Yeah everyone's goal is to earn money, but only few users trust in bitcoin and digital currencies. Some avoid this bitcoin thinking this as illegal. So we need to motivate by explaining the reality of its nature that its decentralized and not a illegal thing.
