In terms of the 1 year chart data, I have used the price from 17-10-2015 to 17-10-2016 as that is exactly 1 year. I am not looking at a certain point within that year to measure from a low point to the highest point.
what happened in the past is not a good indicator to what will happen in the future, but hopefully we all know that. so let us do it anyway and have some fun. if i invest, then only long term makes sense or i could go gambling. is 1 or 2 years long? not to me. i want 20 or 30 years. how was the gold increase for gold over that period? i do not have the numbers but it was nothing special at all. what about bitcoin? oh 20 or 30 years ago there was no bitcoin. seems like it is not possible to compare them both. well, i guess we will have to wait some more years to take a fair look at this. If I look at charts from exactly 20 years back till now, then Gold as increased with around 230%. This is just from the starting point to the end which is today. Within this 20 year period the price has gone from well below $300, to a peak of nearly $1900. That is of course not counted as it happened within that 20 year period. |

I dont believe such, gold has countries and big fortunes trust and support bitcoin are small companies and some individuals trying to get some kind of income with their investments into crypto world.
I think trust will also help the security of investing. certainly there is no doubting the quality of gold and many people believe in gold as a profitable investment, which is why gold is more secure you could compare it with bitcoin? |

Gold's price isn't really changing as much as Bitcoin's does. You would go for gold if you knew more about it though, because it can be used in many more cases than Bitcoin can be, and everybody knows or at least heard about Gold. Bitcoin is not that popular. In case of a crisis, Bitcoin could even fail completely. |

Gold's price isn't really changing as much as Bitcoin's does. You would go for gold if you knew more about it though, because it can be used in many more cases than Bitcoin can be, and everybody knows or at least heard about Gold. Bitcoin is not that popular. In case of a crisis, Bitcoin could even fail completely. I think Bitcoin will be strengthened at a moment when the centralized currency crisis. But of course, the currency is unpredictable. |

gold may be very good for the long term, but you have to invest in a large amount.
bitcoin is also good in the long term, because we are all convinced. bitcoin has potential in prices could rise higher in the future and gold is more safe than bitcoin. but if you want to earn huge profits bitcoin very worthy to take big risks too.

What do you mean by 'better'? Gold has a billion more real-world, 'use-value' applications than Bitcoin, and isn't reliant on the internet in order to exist. But Bitcoin is an incredible technological innovation which offers individuals a financial autonomy never previously seen by any form of money. Apples and oranges, gorillas and goji berries.

Gold is good but in the most cases its used in long terms because on short terms its simply not worth doing it.
I think due to that fact the bitcoin is better because there are more things possible.
You are right about that, gold is a great investment if you have the time for it because its for a long term. The bitcoin is better because you can do it both, long and short terms. |

As i stated on one thread which i choose offcourse i choose bitcoin and it is better to choose and use because here in my country there's a lot of miner's who keep really destroying our mother nature and gold is not hard to find not like bitcoin's. So for me bitcoin is best coz you can really sell it and earn it for free.

Me too I'm going to choose more with bitcoin because I know that this is going to make me better unlike with gold. Because if people here in my place knows that you have gold. Then just wait for it for sure as they are going to choose gold rather than your life for it is more precious to them so they are going to put you in danger. So for me, I would go for bitcoin, my life is safe and it is safer than gold. |

Yup gold is not better than bitcoin some of us are still choose bitcoin because it gives us really profits in live and huge profits when we are going to trade it into another altcoins not like gold if you done selling it you don't know what your next step to earn money again not like in bitcoin it's continues and yes mostly it takes time to make profit with gold. |

bitcoin fluctuation is good to invest with while with the gold we needed to wait for more time before our assets will move. just needed to be careful placing our entry when we deal with bitcoin investment. |
