oK so the reward halving has happened, whats your thoughts on it. The inflation rate has halved, i think the bitcoin price will slowly climb back up now.
Bitcoin has by far the lowest inflation rate of all currencies therefore the capital should come into it anytime now.
The rise up in value would take several weeks, months even. If we look at the first halving, the price really doubled. But it actually took roughly two months for that to happen. I'm not sure whether that would apply to today as well, but maybe, just maybe it's going to need that much time as well. I agree that the price will eventually start to go up but I think it might take a lot longer that last time for it to double. The halving has come and gone but it didn't bring a massive boost in adoption. We'll have to wait for the Bitcoin adoption rate to continue its own natural evolution. I'm not sure if you can compare first halving to this one. During the first halving bitcoin was not very famous. Now it's know by a lot of people, speculators and gamblers among them. And that changes the price developement compared to first halving.

Capital can flow into bitcoin anytime now, it's volatility is lowering constantly, and big investors will definitely consider it in the future.

I think more and bigger investors will step it this will solve 2 big problems we have. - Bitcoin as an investment instrument to non bitcoiners. - Bitcoin whales will vanish.

I will just wait a few more weeks to see what aftershock the halving will produce, then i will remove point 2) from the list and focus on the other projects. There are many more interesting projects suggested by the posters of this thread and i will have to review them all.

I nice project would be setting up a Bitcoin area in an rural region of a developing country, set up a Bitcoin ATM and place a ready available and free wifi system to studying how much of the local population would get into using bitcoin.

Exactly, and sometimes those great ideas are forgotten and just buried because of many threads that have been lurking. I guess the aftershock of halving is done. I dont see a great hike last week.

I didnt expected the price to go up suddenly to 1000 $, but it can still happen over the course of a few months. I guess bitcoin is now stabilized, with low inflation, and i think many big investors can be looking into it now as it is a safe haven. And we will see many more good projects that will send more users.

nice list! thank you for share and compile!I think that open bazaar could be one of the greatest invention of the last years... but just see and wait what happened...I am looking forward to testing the full version of Brave browser. The concept looks really interesting and the feature of getting paid to see ads may work well or crash and burn and I am curious to see what will happen. Still the current version has a lot of way to go.

Im quite excited for their future projects especially segwit. Im kinda excited with it since the transactions will be faster and the waiting time will be lessened. Im also excited for the embedded mining project since it will invite more miners to bitcoin, and it will also ease the transactions that will invite more big whales to invest in bitcoin.

Well, I have questions, what is the bitsquare and usefulness of bitsquare, does the bitsquare is like a bitcoin wallet? thank you for your explanation. I'm new in bitcoin. regards. It is a decentralized altcoin exchange, but it works with bitcoin as base currency. You can store bitcoins in the bitsquare wallet, while you are trading there. But if you want a simple wallet only, just check out electrum: https://electrum.org/#home
