I had a minor issue which bit365 solved for me but I'd like a little clarification, as I got a real "scare" last night.
I brought up my QT bitcoin wallet and it was about 12 hours behind. I know from previous experience that I can go ahead and
send bitcoins even while it is syncing. Anyways, I wanted to make a new investment on bit365, so I clicked Invest,
copied the bitcoin hash, and sent my coins to that hash, while my wallet was syncing.
Hours later I come back to the bit365 investment page and it still says pending.
Then I realize, it says "send bitcoins within 2 minutes to this address". I had a real scare that I had been too late by a minute or more.
In the future, I'm going to wait for my wallet to sync before doing this, unless I'm told otherwise. My computer is really crappy apparently
and updating is slower than other computers, even with all the improvements QT has made (and I can tell you they have been significant).
So my question is, was that the problem that mr bit365 solved for me? Maybe if you increased the time from 2 minutes to an hour
or something? It seems like too short of a time frame. Naturally, the cynical side of me was saying, "He's just going to take my bitcoins
if it's even one second past the date", but that's not what happened, as bit365 fixed the problem for me very quickly.
I think that with the 2 minute thing they check against the send time on the transaction, so it might not show up for 30 minutes or more but then when it does it shows as having been in the correct time frame. They need to keep it short because spreads can change and they don't want you hedging by putting in a bet and not paying. FWIW, I have full confidence that the site will resolve it's bet by morning, but it's annoying that TNF isn't resolved yet: http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/bet/4d07f |

Its in the blockchain. Ive had bets take hours to show up on Bit365. You'll be ok, I wouldnt worry too much |

hi admins, can u look at www.bitcoinsports.eu/inv/2187ei have first sent a wrong sice of my investment, i put one zero to much in it... Transferid: 49f9eeae8c3f30f29ec3edca524b120c553188f60830277152879c0a1e2b2138 the i send another 0.1 btc to come over the minimum transferid: 523fd1766726e94898f5c0bc4e43706fa887d722c5705d6dae6fb620136f33d4 but until now it is still pending on the site. |
