To be honest I hope that it value if the Bitcoin is ever gong to be that high and I am looking forward to something like that happening. We still have a long way to go before the end 2017.
So lets focus on what the price is going to be at the end of 2016 because that is allot closer.

Bitcoin price rise will occur before halving in my opinion.Miners need to stay profitable.I see a spike to $1500-$2000 by halving then a collapse to $800.A steady rise back to $1500 by end of year. It will hit $4k in 2017.
It is possible for that to happen in 2017 but it is not sure that it is actually really going to happen. It can happen before that or maybe after that next year we are going to see what it is. Most people are thinking its always bullish but fail to see past history how long it takes for serious price movement to hold. It took 6 years for bitcoin from zero to a couple cents then to a $400 valuation until this halving scenario hit. |

how can you say that such a small price is too big for a bitcoin price? in my opinion there will be a huge price increase in the near future and i think that the price will grow even more im pretty sure that it is possible for the price to go that high in the next year what would give us all the investors a lot of money, i think we might reach even bigger prices than that |

It could be possible for the price to reach that amount at the end of 2017 but I am not sure if it is really going to happen because we never know what is goin got happen with the value of the Bitcoin. We have to wait and see what the future is going to bring us. |

bitcoin is one of the unstable financial media. anything can happen in bitcoin so fast. for this prediction I believe this could happen. bitcoin now be in the range of 700 USD. and it is not possible two years later bitcoin could be in figure 3K USD. it is very possible.

it is definitely not too much for bitcoins, at least from my point of view, i htink that bitcoins are going to grow a lot in the upcoming months and make us all a lot of profit really easily in my opinion it is possible to reach such heights in 2017, it also depends on whether if a lot of people will be interested in bitcoins or not, if a lot of people will buy we will definitely benefit a lot |

Bro put the crack pipe down. The halving is already reflected in the price and your estimate is way too high even if it wasn't. We've been sandtrapped at 420 for some time now and it's anyone's guess when we'll break out--and we might even break out to the downside. Buy hey, I would not be disappointed if your prediction came true.
The 4 Million+ bitcoins that haven't been mined yet are already priced in too, due to market foreknowledge, right??  |

2016 seems to be much like 2012 - a preparation for Super Bull run for the next year. If the same trend continues bitcoin will end up touching tens of thousands of dollars and then having a stable value in thousands of dollars in 2017 onwards.
The price is still incredible low and gives excellent opportunities to collect a few bitcoins fro here and there - one never have too many coins I guess. When the price is high, then you have something to sell for the newcomers who are desperately trying to get even some fractions of bitcoins.

I'm fully agreeing this is just bullshit, no one can predict this at all and 2017 is very far from now. That people are even already talking about the price of 2017 is crazy, you could better think about the price it wil get after the halving people. |

It even goes that far that people are talking about the price to reach $1,000,000 at some point while we are far below $1000 still. It doesn't make any sense but people still speculate/dream about it. |

there is a exponential growth more or less stable over the years, this trend of bitcoin has to be continued, if so it is possible. there will be continious valleys followed by spikes. We are currently in a valley, which is very good news. |

Anything could happen with bitcoin, at the same the quoted price seems to be something very high because even on the halving year we haven't but with a normal year how its possible. Secondly in a years time we don't get that high adoption to take price around $4k.

I think that it is possible for the Bitcoin price to reach that at the end of 2017 because we still have some time left before we are actually there at that moment. It is also possible that it is not going to happen but we just have to see what will happen. |

I think that it is possible for the Bitcoin price to reach that at the end of 2017 because we still have some time left before we are actually there at that moment. It is also possible that it is not going to happen but we just have to see what will happen. If everything goes well and the number of the bitcoin user increase steadily, the price will be $2000 to 4000 in 2017. |

I think that is is possible for the price to reach $3000 or $4000 at the end of 2017 but we are not going to know if it will happen.
The only thing we can do is speculate and wait for that moment to happen.

That might be asking too much for such a short period of time. I am not even sure if the the price can reach that level in the next 10 years. The price of bitcoin is going to stabilize when more people start to use it and when more shops start to accept it. For now, the price could go as high as maybe $900-$1200 until 2017. But my guess is just as good as anybody else's.
