Bitcoin always has been associated with vice and I'm sure it always will be.  I'm cool with that,  and I think the gambling aspect helps keep it alive.  That's freedom.  Except I got booted off of one dice site because I'm in the United States.  Good article though it read like a pure bitcoin pump.

This article provides ZERO evidence that "Bitcoin gambling is exploding"...
It just talks about how gambling is big on the web... and BTC has some theoretical advantages over fiat.

I know for a fact that BTC poker sites are dead and comprise way <<< 1% of online poker.

As of this post PokerStars has 168,000 players online (with 90% playing sophosticated multilevel tourneys)...
While the Top 2 Bitcoin poker sites have 100-150 players total online playing simple cash games.

Instead of the crapola in this thread...
Maybe there needs to be a basic discussion about why BTC is losing 1000:1 versus fiat.

The article is very general and do not provide any numerical data that support the increase in Bitcoin gambling.

If the use of bitcoin is stagnant, how can bitcoin gambling be exploding? Are we all turning into gamblers? I do not gamble....

Yeah.. gambling will be a strong arm in bitcoin ecosystem, it was in the beginning and it will be ever... and when I mean galbling I'm saying about cards, dice, sports and everything that only BTC could give to us. At least since 2011 (as I know).

Since 2011? I doubt that those sites are still around as the price fluctuations would be a major turn off for a site to continue business for the long term as they don't know what their profit would be when the quarter ends. Atleast that is how real life business determine if they should cut back on staff or cease operations all together.

It is easier for bitcoin casinos to get players because the value of what they play with are not dictated at a the same value when they deposit then from what they cash out with. So there is a caveat there for how much the gambler thinks they are spending at one time.

Not much people thinks like this , but I admit I do it occasionally.
Bet and hoping get profit from bitcoin price gained at once,  very often I do deposit $800 win from betting up to $1500 and when I cashed out it turn $1600 means $100 profit from bitcoin price .

I completely believe that bitcoin gambling is exploding.  I think that gambling is one of the best uses of bitcoin.  I remember playing poker online several years back, before bitcoin even existed and it was clunky and took several days to withdrawal funds after depositing with a credit card.  Bitcoin makes it so easy to deposit and withdrawal, and is pretty quick.  With provably fairness, it makes bitcoin a no brainer for gambling.

Bitcoin is very popular among gamblers who can't bet online from the countries because there is a ban by the government for all unlicensed sportsbooks. Bitcoin gambling is developing at a rapid rate and I expect a lot of bonuses and nice offers for the upcoming Euro 2016.

Well Bitcoin is getting popular nowadays and I think there are people who have realized the potential of gambling through bitcoin because bitcoin gambling site are just a fingertips away and people can play anonymously and aside from getting free satoshi in faucets it is not a big problem playing it.

There are some gambling sites which use the blockchain and require no username or email too. 
And no nosey taxman to start enquiries if you have windfall profits.
