Yes it's bitcoin is spreading world wide like a diseases i thought in all countries people know about this crypto currency. It's becoming very famous in short period of time. Now small small business doing people also using this bitcoin. Some people are using this for there daily use also. So If casinos close also it will not effect that much to bitcoin. Only the price of bitcoin will decrease little bit.

I agree it has more uses, but that is only on a small number of places I think, compared to it's gambling use that is worldwide. Where I live and in many other countries, people would not even know bitcoin if they were not using it for gambling, so I think in the remote event that casinos etc, would top using it, the price would go down a lot not just a bit.
Majority users in the gambling industry are those with sports betting. They have the volume to make wagers on their favorite sports, gambling with bitcoin gives them an ease that fiat money cannot offer. There group has been growing faster because they can be easily educated with bitcoins, only gamblers in casino uses fiat because they want some real action in the casino.

Occasions like this one makes bitcoin grow up.

No surprises lots of people see bitcoin similar to bittorrent.

Both of those technologies are above the law.

People want to gamble and gambling is really a bad thing. So the government bans it. Is that the solution? Banning it? Govs need to raise healthy people with solid minds so they won't think about gambling in the first place. Instead of fixing the cause, they ban the result.

Alcohol makes people drunk, and drunk people make accidents, now should we ban alcohol? (Well, some countries actually do that!)

You see indeed also that Bitcoin and gambling is getting work together and that is nice because you see also see that the value is going to rise slowly and that would be perfect.
And the world is also getting more digital so that is perfect for Bitcoin.
That is true, if the gambling world will collapse the same thing will happen to bitcoin, but right I can't that happening because base on the trend it is apparent that there is a growing industry for gambling using bitcoins and some merchants have already adopted it.

LOL, you should have explore and learn more about bitcoin. It's not depending on gambling if it collapses or not. Bitcoin has way more uses than just gambling. Just like fiat, even the casinos will close it won't affect the money.
If only one gambling site/casino will close, definitely it won't affect the value of bitcoins but if ALL gambling sites were to close down, it will surely affect bitcoins as many people use bitcoins for gambling.

Yeah I have to admit it. As the one of main reasons why I use bitcoin is to do gambling, then I guess so do other people. But if bitcoin has been spread to the world, then bitcoin will never get big effect if all casino sites are closed, since people could use it to do another things.

I've been thinking of how to add randomness to blockchain , and come up with an idea of peer to peer blockchain merkle pseudo randomness. This idea provides a random number each time a new block is mined. You may ask whatt the fuck I just let website user to set his custom seed and show him hash ahead. Sure  but the bet office can see their own seed so the office can be aswell bruteforcing user's seed for a second to fake randomnes, and if the user select bet type (red or black) ahead the user can get REKT by some user behavior prediction algorithm if the user does not change the choice in many rolls.

Yes , let's call block-chain randomness for what is it, the epic major solution that brings you better than rigged behavior of supposedly provable fairness, your one -stop destination for truly random numbers created as a summation of many independent pseudo random numbers trusted and correct thanks to central limit theorem.

Is will continue to grow because it is anonymous

True and don't forget because many people have become addicted to gambling, with the internet and no control it is even easier to get addcited. I do hope some better regulation will come against scam casino's btw. They got a free heaven to commit scams unto us.

Casinos will never close because their business are profitable, bitcoin gambling is not illegal because bitcoin are not regulated by the government, that's the beauty of it that is why bitcoin is becoming more stable and expect the price to soar in the near future.

Yeah it sounds bit not possible if all casinos will close. But not all casinos can survive, its like other business, there is a rivalry between them, and I guess few casinos have closed because this.

I think since bitcoin could not regulated by the government, they will considerate it as a illegal transaction tool in future.

gambling is illegal in some countries and it doesn't matter what you use (fiat, bitcoin or altcoins) it is against the law and they will not allow the casinos to work in their jurisdiction. so that doesn't mean you can gamble with bitcoin and it is ok, you can do it with vpn though and cover your identity.

I don't think that is true, no offense, this is only in my honest opinion, in our country gambling is really prohibited but there is no specific rules that governs on the bitcoin gambling that makes it illegal, bitcoin as per government per se is not a currency so it has no value. Correct me if I am wrong.

i think that is different from country to country, and when it is said that gambling is prohibited by law it means you cannot run a casino in that country that is why they use an offshore host for their website, and this usually doesn't affect users. because law is not looking for individuals playing with their money, but i may be wrong and you should check your own country's rules.

Regulation is not going to change anything if a casino can easily switch to a different country while payments are in bitcoin. How are they going to regulate any malicious casino if if they can't even take The Pirate Bay down? Just like servers spreading infected software are still around.
Regulation is not going to change anything. Besides, scamming people is already illegal in most countries anyway. That does not stop scammer from doing so.

Of course gambling addiction is a risk, but that's mainly up to the user himself. I know I'd easily get addicted, and the solution is simple: I use play money and never risk anything I'm not willing to lose. It's even worse if you gamble with money you borrowed: You can't afford to lose it as you don't even own it.
You can try to regulate everything, threat all adults like children, but what happened to people's own responsibility? If someone wants to gamble, he'll find a way anyway.

I have seen some casinos and sportsbooks that offer both fiat and Bitcoin deposit options getting banned in countries where online gambling is regulated and requires a license to be issued for operators who would like to do business in said countries. I have seen also entirely Bitcoin-based gambling sites that have dropped support for people from countries where Bitcoin is banned or in the process of being regulated.

It is quite obvious that Bitcoin gambling is expanding than physical casinos mostly because of the fact that Bitcoin is anonymous (rather, pseudoanonymous) in nature.
Another factor of its expansion is the rhetorical advantage that online casinos enjoy with their house edge in terms with being probably fair.

True and don't forget because many people have become addicted to gambling, with the internet and no control it is even easier to get addcited.

That's another reason why casinos are emerging so rapidly.

Thats why people love bitcoin, where no one even government could know the identity of the gamblers who playing in some online casino. So, its not a problem now for you to gambling, but although no one can rule you with your bitcoin, you still have to bet responsibly.

The gamblers support especially those who gamble regularly helps the price of the bitcoin to be stable and even rise in value. Now, that more and more casinos are opening and other casinos who already adopted bitcoin then we can expect a good competition among them. Especially in sportsbook they are gonna offer a competitive odds for the punters.

Yup! gambling with bitcoin helps increase the value of bitcoin and to make it stable, and because of this booming on gambling with bitcoin, bitcoin is now popular and many gamblers now are suggesting to use bitcoin to play anonymously with it and because of bitcoin they can easily access gambling sites and play are they pleases.

Many gambling sites have already adopted with bitcoins because they see this as an opportunity to gain more profit, if they will use bitcoin, many gamblers will be able to bet because the country restrictions will then be eliminated, and charges for deposits/withdrawals have a little charges.
