Bitcoin can disappear?

In a short or long run bitcoin won't get disappeared similar to various digital currencies that got existed and vanished in a short time. Only possibility is to get disappear when production gets stopped. Also if such disappearing occurs bitcoin exists in a new form or name soon.

I don't believe on it, bitcoin will not dissappear, because many people like bitcoin and using it, but if something happen to bitcoin we anyway have other cryptocurrecy

agree since all things have beginning and also has its ending but for now  it would take  too many years to  be disappear, as you mentioned about gold it could be possibly disappeared but  it would take time since gold is a precious metal part of this world. Bitcoin could disappear to  and we dont know what  things could make it disappear. We dont have any idea.

i think 40 is just a random number he throw out there because i can't really find anything happening in the year 2056 (which is 40 years from now). and yeah bitcoin can disappear but in a very longer time and only if in the future there is a brand new technology that can make bitcoin obsolete, there is no other way.

You cant conclude that it would  disappear in 40 years, it might be still alive  when we are already dead  and our grandsons would  reach it someday. No one knows, bitcoin has the potential  and future to last long since its been used  for many of us now and  everyday its developing how much more in upcoming year unless  if theres a big problem then  that would be a bad thing.

Bitcoin will only disappear if this community stops support bitcoin or if some big issue comes at bitcoin, currently the big problem and question are at the miners hash after mine ends what would be the next way to handle those. As we all know bitcoin is safe,its security is protected by the hash, without hash bitcoin has no security.

only if another better technologies than cryptocurrency or blockchain system hasn't appear yet,so bitcoin could grew up more bigger,but see,so many altcoins out there always making new innoviation and it's quite interesting

Bitcoin can dissappear because it only a ceypto currency no physical banks hold it and everything in the net can collapse because it is too risky in a malicious attacks bu scammer. But the percentage of btc to disappear is very small. But theres always a possibility even if its small. I think only crypto oriented people will panic and not the majority. hahaha... because i think only 1/4 or less of population in the world is using bitcoin..

In 2016 there is no way i see it disappear. Bitcon has become famous over the last couple of years, and if you look at the market cap. ~`0 billion you will see that it will take a lot of effort to make bitcoin disappear.

People are hoping that more stores are going to start opening up and accepting Bitcoin as payment, but we really don't know if that is going to be  a thing or not. Just because people say that there is a lot of potential for other businesses and so to open up their doors and start accepting Bitcoin doesn't mean that they 100% will open their payment means and start to accept Bitcoin. Hopefully more businesses begin to accept Bitcoin, but I don't know if there's any reason for the businesses to start accepting it.
