there is simply no reason for that. and also OP question doesn't even make any sense. he is just throwing some random thought out. if it was the day one of project bitcoin then you could be suspicious about whether bitcoin is a scam or not but now after all these years and seeing how it works and how huge businesses are accepting it you can't even think it.

people now a days is always thinking for their future, i think he has a business of bitcoin or he buy some bitcoin to start investment so he just want to know if bitcoin can disappear in the next 5 or more years but you are right throwing some random thought bitcoin now is becoming famous and more of us are depending on this some of us have business and more companies are now accepting bitcoin.

I don't think that could happen anymore because bitcoin is now use almost all over the world.if there is no users, then it could be a useless coin but never disappear.

The blockchain technology is here to stay. The future is difficult to predict, of course, but bitcoin has just begun.

Blockchain technology is indeed very good friends, you are trying to compare it to the BANK system you use. I am pleased with the technology BC than banks, because in technology blockchain (Bc) did not require the identity to make or perform a transaction. It makes my identity hidden in the internet and I can do things safely without the shadow of a Hacker. Indeed the future could not be known, but we can guess with good when looking at the events that have happened in the past
Cryptocurrencies are now a 'thing'. Bitcoin, however, may not last forever as there is bound to be at least one better coin by the next few centuries. We would not be here to witness that though but as I am sure of the words "nothing lasts forever" applies even to bitcoin also unfortunately.

True statement, no one lasts forever  and on anything  in this  world  or on universe, every thing has its own limit. Everything has a beginning and also an ending. Bitcoin wouldnt last forever  but  im sure that   i would take a long time for it to disappear since  already many people are already engaging into it especially to those huge investors out there.

It can disappear in a split second. You won't even notice it. But it is only one way: electricity collapse. It would bring everything down, including BTC.

I think electricity collapse is never happen. The only way to make bitcoin dissapear is no more people that use bitcoin anymore, so bitcoin abandoned by all people and bitcoin become useless.

For sure,  if no one uses bitcoin and  dump it all by its users and  losses also its value  then its the time considering that its dead already and may disappear and   there would be a new beginning again  and  new crypto would take its place well  all things  have a cycle in this world.

It will not die again dude, we are in the progressive stage and take a look of the total amount of money invested by the adopters, they will not allow that to happen, they will protect their investment because they believe bitcoin will be useful now and in the future for the humanity.

I don't think so the bank will disappear just caused by the electricity is down, maybe you need to read the history of the bank before,in a long time ago the old era bank is starting familiar and without electricity and think if you know about the bank you will familiar with templar's knight..

Technically, bitcoin will never disappear nor be deleted.
It is only possible to just lose its value.
If that happens, it will be safe to say that it has disappear.
But to answer your question, yes it is possible.

Yeah anything is possible with bitcoins, if its price falls to extreme level and if people stop using it then it can surely disappear in future and it may also get replaced by some new and innovative currency in future.

Very true, all things have ending and all things might possible to happen, especially to bitcoin as  you said  if  bitcoin price would dump so hard  and  people stop using  it and  it would surely die and  being replaced by new and  more innovative coin that  surpasses bitcoin in any way.

I doubt that could happen anytime soon, we have the network running and working for years so how could it be an exit scam? you don't entrust money to the network and this isn't a payment processor, Also there aren't any alt-coin-like developers here  Tongue

All developers of bitcoin are legit. They won't let their money go to waste as well.
Moreover, they sacrificed hours and sweat for this to be established as strong as this.

Everything day I am seeing huge number of newbies here and I can manu services and businesses coming up with accepting bitcoin as a payment and payment mode these things symbolically showing that bitcoin is going to be live for more years.

People will panic?
That's a BIG NO bitcoin can't be disappear why? because lots of us nowadays are depending on bitcoin which is we are using our money to buy bitcoin so that we can use our bitcoin as currency to do some activities like investment , trading or to do gambling for me there's a possibility that bitcoin will decrease the price not to disappear.

There are many different opinions regarding this topic but I am agreeing with you that value of Bitcoins will fluctuate but it would not result to an end. Bitcoins are still new and growing so I think it has long future. Yes nothing is impossible but according to current market situation bit coins will never end and in my views their value will rise very soon because of huge demand.

Well all things born and die someday, i do hope with bitcoin it can be diferent. About the price sure it will keep going up and down year by year, but if colapse it will be the end to it, a coin that hasnt any volume its considered dead.

For me i think it is good that the price will not goes up too high because if the price will goes up no new users are willing to invest, and the demand will goes down that is why i think this was good enough for the value of bitcoin

I personally do not see any possibility of bitcoin being somehow unused, unless people stop using it or trusting it, but this is very unlikely to happen, from my point of view.
