As far as i know, bitcoins are limited and someday it will every coin be mined, but i don't believe that bitcoin can dissapear completly, but it can become unused.
I don't see any possibility of bitcoin being unused because if they're scarce then there would be more demand of it as it human psychology proves that the less we have is the more we want.

bitcoin will always be used even if it loses its market place somehow, it can still be used as a means to transfer money from one point to another with the most secure system even if it is worth $1 so it will never die. and all the rest of the usages are of secondary importance but they are still of value.

Bitcoin will never disappear lets be real here. It's been around since 2009 and survived the drug-money test.

Bitcoin is here to stay including the rest of the coins that we almost though are dead.
There is even possibilities that countries will have thier own coins but this is just what i see in the future, it could or it may not happen. Smiley

Anything is possible in digital world, may be bitcoins will be replaced by any new coin in future, but as of now bitcoin is the best crypto and will survive for long term.

it cant just be a scam after 7 years. only way bitcoin will disappear is if people stop using it. and thats not going to happen instantly. we would see the price drive all the way down to 0 before it dies. plenty of time to cash out.

Yeah no matter how it goes down in value, it can be used by people who believe in it.  And besides its not easy to make btc disappear, traces will always be there and as long as there is a node running for it, it will never disappear.  That's the beauty of digital currency in my  opinion.

Its very hard to believe that bitcoin can ever disappear in future, bitcoin is only 7 years old and it still has long way to go and reach every corner of the world.

very honestly bitcoin can disappear, but if the people stop using it and the miners stop mining, or some big issue occured to bitcoin, but hope such unexpected and unwanted issue will not happen to bitcoin and bitcoin will continue to survive for every, and soon we will see that people will satart using bitcoin as fiat currency in their shops.

I don't think so. The blockchain is a distributed ledger, so it is everywhere.

It might just happen, because all the things that exist in the world is definitely have time restrictions and that only we can know after you see it. Bitcoin can just disappear when the internet is down or experiencing a disorder that causes all the connections are not able to connect with others. Bitcoin also depends on the user, if the user then was tired of bitcoin bitcoin will disappear

I was thinking the same thing. Why would the increasing mining difficulty break down BTC's value? I have seen the progress how mining difficulty was increasing and BTC's value was going up in the same time. I think, there are more important factors than mining difficulty at a crypoturrency and BTC's current value proves that. There are several altcoins that are easier to mine than BTC and are their values better than BTCs? Nah.

The lesser it becomes the more people want to have a piece of it? Just like rare items or paintings and others stuff that are hard to find?

There are too many miners nowadays that is why it is becoming harder each day.

Bitcoin can disappear?
And if bitcoin is a scam, what will happen in world?
People will panic?
I don't think it will happen but I also think YES to your question, it certainly can happen. Its all virtual and with that the vulnerability is there of course. And people will surely panic, you'll see some heart failures as well if that happens. But hopefully and probably it won't.

Even if BTC disappear it will make a history and everyone will remember how bitcoin has been useful, however for now bitcoin is a tremendous currency online it will continue to be useful as long as there is still BTC available.

If bitcoin is just one big scam and in some moment it will crush those people who could predict it will cash out their money and will be rich and panic will touch only those people who expected bitcoin will rise without a limit. But I think it cannot always rise - some day will all pop like a bladder.
nah bitcoin will never become scam why? because many investors are using bitcoin currency where they can trade, gamble and invest because here they can double their money in easy ways because of gambling and for those saying that bitcoin will disappear soon don't believe them they are not the owner so how could they say the bitcoin will become scam soon. for me as the year past bitcoin will become useful and more reliable
