Still waiting for that time when I can cash out my stellar. I am positive the price will go up this 2018, I just wish it would happen sooner.

its just because the value of bitcoin is going down. stellar value is still base on bitcoin value. we should wait for the bitcoin recovery and see the stellar go to the moon :d

i have discovered that support (albeit for my own stupidity) on the stellar network is almost non existent. what the fuck? i got a message from stellar that we don’t have support but fill in this form. that’s pretty fucking poor for a multi billion dollar company.

Stellar's price is same as ripple's price, I hope stellar can have its price range, not following with xrp.

Stellar is not big at all yet.
I was always saying - Stellar is a transaction coin and banks - they need that technology! And not with Ripple with founder who has in his own bag more than everyone else combined, but transparent. Crypto will start with transparency and banks. And then will be only currency. Stellar is a perfect candidate!

My favorite coin. Hodling since April, still so low! Using every day for payments. The best one!
yeah, fundamentally a very strong asset. Flow of deals from IBM, SatoshiPay, Novati, Pundi X and etc. Going to thrive.

It will boost both companies and people will love it. Lower fees, faster transactions, cheaper for everyone, more users. They need to compete with money gram. That would be nice.

Do you know what reasons made BTC price had sold out?

Stellar is clearly a coin for long-term investment. Even though I bought early when the price was only $0.22, i don't think i would sell at any price in 2018. Let's see where it will stand on the Q1 2019!

Your question as the same my concern. I still confused about some different names on some exchanges such as STR on poloniex and XLM on bittrex. Why different?

Is it still good to buy and hold these days? Yes I have a strong believe in this coin, I have been holding this coin from almost 10 months and bought around 300 sathoshi. As per my observation in last 10 months it's moving ahead quite promisingly. I am happy to hold Stellar until it reaches to $4 to $5 in 2018. It's just an opinion based on my observation from last 10 months.

Your question as the same my concern. I still confused about some different names on some exchanges such as STR on poloniex and XLM on bittrex. Why different? Stellar is the name of the company. Lumens are the spoken name of the coin itself. Most often you will hear them together, "Stellar Lumens" in conversation or simply Stellar since that's how people have been expressing it so far (thus your understandable confusion). As for exchanges, I'm not sure why Poloniex has the coin listed as STR. It's XLM. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can explain it better to you. But that is the gist of it. Stellar = The company Lumens = The coin Stellar Lumens = (try to look at it as a statement) "The Lumens of Stellar" XLM = The standard exchange name. STR = Poloniex doing their own thing?

Are you looking at the USD market or the BTC market? It's currently at about $.53. Back in November it was $.03. (Yea, when BTG was @ $400 and I planned to convert it all to XLM. Wish I had pulled that trigger.)

Do you know what reasons made BTC price had sold out? I think it's a combination of the January dip, which has happened every year, if you go look at the long term charts, and the Korea ban, not ban, and the high tx fees and then just some general profit taking, which I admit I missed out on, because I got greedy and was waiting for $25k.

Your question as the same my concern. I still confused about some different names on some exchanges such as STR on poloniex and XLM on bittrex. Why different? The network has always been called "Stellar" and the native coin was called "Stellar". But they wanted to separate the name of the network from the native coin, so they changed the name of the coin to Lumens and retained the name Stellar for the network. I think the name was changed when they introduced the new consensus algo. But I may just be conflating them. I think one or two exchanges just didn't update the ticker/name to XLM/Lumens and still call them Stellar/STR. Which is unfortunate.
