I think if chinese miners go out of business Bitcoin will definitely have a big problem, there's still no demand or real use for Bitcoin but the mining industry is huge, especially on China. After the halvening we will face a complex scenario, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum in deep trouble.
Like hubby decrease their amount of mining bitcoin and the value is halving from 25 BTC to 12,5 BTC and miners need to think again to continue their business. but ETH comes back to normally condition. |

Bitcoin is dead. Lost $200 in just the last two days. Losing more money all the time. And? no way it was holding $780 first time around. Buy - Hold I was able to exchange my bitcoins @ $700 and I had it before @ $570. Do not lose hope. IMHO, Bitcoin will still increase, most probably after halving.  |

I agree with OP's sentiment, I fear Bitcoin may be dropping for good - due mostly to other emerging advantageous cryptocurrencies, most prominently Ethereum. Highly encourage all you cunts to mine some altcoins with the ethminer or minergate pool, I used 500$ laptop 6 months ago to mine what is now worth over 55,000$ worth of Ethereum! |

Urgh.... another BTC is ded thread, ignoring the fact it's never died  I am annoyed at myself now because this thread will forever come up in my new replies tab. Can't help, but the fact is price is below $600 now but still its a good price to hold, and with that price we cannot say that bitcoin is dead, when it will to zero level it can be called as a dead. Yeah or a global EMP It needed a drop if it's to keep going up. we are still shit loads better than anytime since 2013 That's the true nature of bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't even have that much adoption from large companies yet, and still we see that bitcoin popularity is rising even further. It's true that bitcoin is only starting out it's huge success. The early adoptors (?) are the ones who will be most successful. |

Bitcoin doesn't even have that much adoption from large companies yet, and still we see that bitcoin popularity is rising even further. It's true that bitcoin is only starting out it's huge success. The early adoptors (?) are the ones who will be most successful. Yeah people who bought coins for the cheapest price in the past will be making huge profits in future, but we are also not too late I guess, as in future we will be also considered as an early adoptors. |

The high changes within few days is not a good stability, i just checked the chart for today and seems that bitcoin price changed from $555 to $625 which is a high range and this should not be counted as stable. Comparing with the time when OP created this thread the price is much better. |

thats true that it is just the beginning in my opinion because the bitcoin still has big potential to grow in my opinion thus making people a lot of money and allowing to benefit from it i think that the only way bitcoin might become dead is just because the creator of bitcoin would like this to happen, i doubt there is other way because the price might be low but it wouldnt be dead |

Even if Chinese miners quit the coins there will be a lot of pressure on bitcoins but that does not mean that there is an threat to bitcoins existence. The bitcoins will continue to flourish. |
