We will be looking to this in the near future.

But for now lets just let the DGW take effect in the updated client.

We then need to get onto other exchanges.

Has anyone notified coinexchange.io?

Yes I notified both CoinExchange and CryptoID and pointed them at the wallets before I put them up on the ANN.

They are both up to date.

And there she goes!!! DGW in full flow.

Now, who want to see if they can get us on Yobit?

If we want to chance a free submission, or pay 0.1 btc to get listed in a couple of days?

If the latter, please donate a little to the donation address listed in my signature.

Hmm! a free submission it is then for now, see how we go.

Now I had better get that website sorted, I'm not great on web stuff, but I'll give it a bash.

In hindsight I probably should have increased the block time to at least 2 mins.

Crypt

Why do you say that? I think its a bit long.

I feel like 45 seconds is the sweet spot.

Let's talk about the block reward. Do you think the random reward benefits the coin at all?

Hmm!, yes I suppose!

As for the block reward, thats something we will need to concider, from what I can see most of the rewards seem to be at around 3 to 5 really..

Perhaps we could just fix them at 3 with a 45sec blocktime.

the other consideration is money supply, do we increase it and integrate a POS hybrid?

What unique services can Argentim offer, or implement via the blockchain? Probably nothing that hasn't already been done, but, Argentum is fairly unique in that it supports 10MB blocks, and 100k signiture operations per block. I'm still learning about what signifigance it has besides not having the limitations Bitcoin has with a smaller block size, but we should put it to use somehow.

Guys,

Congrats on the team work here getting this coin going again. As far as use cases they will come.  I look forward to seeing ARG on more more exchanges in the future.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but as you say Argentum being an old school crypto may not have many avenues open to it that have not been done before.

Saying that I'm sure that there is always scope for doing some of these things better than the rest, so there is still potential, and who knows, maybe we can come up with something nobody has thought of before.

Simple redone Website for Argentum.

I have updated the site to reflect t0eh new links and resources, and I have taken the opportunity to just make a basic site for the moment so that the relevant info is out there.
You can access it here: http://argcurrency.org/

This is only a temporary style until someone will come onboard to maintain and improve our website.
