you don't have a wallet win 32?

There hasn't been a win32 version in over a year. I had some build problems on 4.14.3+ win32 and since no one has ever requested one I decided not to spend anymore time on it. If you really need it I can take a look again and try to fix it.

Roughly 5 days until the fork. Go grab 4.14.4 if you haven't already.

Are any Myr-Groestl and Lyra2REv2 pools already known?

I believe https://www.joinmycrypto.tk will add Lyra and Yescrypt

I have P2pool software configured and ready to go so people can start mining right away.

All the info is at:

https://github.com/argentumproject/argentum/blob/master/README.md
https://github.com/argentumproject/p2pool-argentum/blob/master/README.md

Best best is to run your own P2pool server and connect to that with your miner.
see https://github.com/argentumproject/p2pool-argentum/blob/master/README.md for instructions

P2Pool server:

- Argon2d 144.202.80.45:9552
- Myr-groestl 45.77.210.177:9553
- Yescrypt 45.76.112.155:9554
- Lyra 45.76.240.8:9557

stratum+tcp://45.77.210.177:9553 and webpage of the pool are currently not accessible - will you activate that when reached required block?

Yes its ready to go, just offline until the fork block. I encourage you to set up you own p2pool server in the future for redundancy.

It looks like the hard fork is a success. Please let me know if you come across any pools, or simply ask your favorite pool for addition.

Hi all, just came across your project and it looks really cool! Looking forward to researching Argentum and learning more about it. Hope that I will be able to contribute something here, as a non-techie guy though. :-)

Happy successful hard fork to you all!

Best way to contribute is word of mouth and supporting the network by mining one of the 6 algorithms.

Argentum is listed on Localbitcoincash.org, cryptopia.co.nz, novaexchange.com and coinexchange.io.

Will definitely do that, be assured! :-)

Newb-question, what is the rationale of having 6 algorithms mining Argentum? Does this approach secure the network in a better way? Or: why don't only the "superior"/"more efficient" algorithms survive and the rest die out? I'd think that there is an equilibrium (game theory-wise) where only the most efficient algorithm will be used.

Hi guys!
Any pools for GPU?

GPU:
Lyra 45.76.240.8:9557 (P2pool)

CPU/GPU:
Yescrypt 45.76.112.155:9554 (P2pool)
https://www.joinmycrypto.tk/

CPU:
Argon2d 45.76.112.155:9554 (P2pool)

ASIC/GPU:
Myriad-Groestl 45.77.210.177:9553 (P2pool)

Please consider hosting you own P2pool server:

More algorithms can help in securing the network. An attacker would need to takeover multiple algorithms. Multiple algorithms allow anyone to mine Argentum. ARG has algorithms dominated by ASICS, and algorithms that are CPU/GPU friendly for mining with consumer grade hardware. You can even mine from your android phone with NeoNeonMiner. You should be able to point it to a P2pool and go.

The market should (in theory) create an equilibrium between the algorithm, but there's so many variables it's difficult to predict.

Software
Lyra2re2 / Myriad-Groestl (GPU)
AMD: - https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/releases or https://github.com/tpruvot/sgminer/releases
NVIDIA: - https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

Argon2d (CPU)
https://github.com/unitusdev/unitus-cpuminer

Yescrypt (CPU)
https://github.com/unitusdev/unitus-cpuminer
https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer/releases
https://github.com/koto-dev/cpuminer-yescrypt/releases

Here's a couple good guides (Use the links above to get the latest mining software for your hardware)
Contrary to the instructions in the following links, you do NOT need to create an account for any of the Servers listed below. You will substitute the username with your Argentum address, the password can be anything.

https://www.reddit.com/r/myriadcoin/comments/6jobfa/beginners_guide_to_myriad_mining_part_2_using/

Servers -
Argon2d: 144.202.80.45:9552 (P2pool)
Myr-groestl: 45.77.210.177:9553 (P2pool)
Yescrypt: 45.76.112.155:9554 (P2pool)
Lyra: 45.76.240.8:9557 (P2pool)
https://www.joinmycrypto.tk/ (Yescrypt)
https://zpool.ca/ will soon have pools available.
