Argon2d pool???
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi protonn

I'm getting this warning when starting argentum-qt:

https://imgur.com/a/pGnQC

"Unknown block versions being mined!..."

Is this somehow related to the latest hard fork? Anything we should consider?

Argon2d pool???

its listed in this thread, argentum.io, and readme.md at the argentum github repo.

argentum.io doesn't list any argon2d pool ... is there any argon2d pool out there?

Also, the doc instructions are wrong regarding berkley db 5.1 for ubuntu. v5.1 isn't available in the bitcoin PPA (that one only has v4.8 )

So, as far as I see there is no lyra2v2 pool so far?
And there is no sence trying other algos with GPUs.

Also, the daemon says "errors": "Warning: Unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect",

Is that something to worry about?

Trying to solo mine using argon2d directly from daemon (using getblocktemplate) spits out an "Unrecognized block version: 614662149"

That warning is normally associated with segwit signalling in bitcoin, but no idea what it's doing in argentum for argon2d ... any clues?

Sorry about that.

The only argon2d pool I'm "aware" of is P2pool. You can make you own, or join one.

https://github.com/argentumproject/p2pool-argentum

Known P2Pool servers:

- Argon2d 144.202.80.45:9552
- Myr-groestl 45.77.210.177:9553
- Yescrypt 45.76.112.155:9554
- Lyra 45.76.240.8:9557

Last I heard zpool.ca was working on argon2d support, but I don't know the current status on that.

Signaling from CSV soft fork.

Lyra P2Pool

- Lyra 45.76.240.8:9557

Zpool.ca: https://zpool.ca/
p2pool is a bit of a headache with unknown profitability;)

zpool converts it all to to bitcoin immidiately which I don't like.

I was looking for a conventional mining pool Smiley

with zpool, try c=ARG as the password. You should get Argentum payouts to your ARG address

I sent an email to whattomine.com a few weeks ago asking them to add the new algos but I haven't received a reply.

This will be great, i hope this is 100% success

Well if the majority in community so thought. And that happens sometimes much the negative in subjects is created. From it of course then it is difficult to make a right choice in relation to the project.

Hi! Developers, what kind of programming language do you plan to use? Is there any code for this project?
