I wonder why not more people are dumping their giveaway on Novaexchange, while it can still be measured in LTC.  Grin

At the current price of 10 litoshi, that means everybody who got a giveaway of about 300 Mio. ESP got a giveaway of more than $100, which is plain ridiculous. So thanks for the money, goodbye  Wink  I have never got that much money as a gift from a stranger on the internet before.

WOW A HUNDRED DORRERRSSS!!!!!    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes dork.
It's called respect. After the weaker hands are shaken, hopefully, we can move upwards and onwards.

Hey I'm one of the early giveaway recipients and plan on holding for the long run.
Except I would like to help fund bounties to promote fastest development marketing etc...
If the developers have some setup let me know and I'll contribute!

Haha ok keep dreaming, I have bought some RADS of which I know that they will be successful. Espers is an experimental project with no real value yet.

If you want to dump at the current price go right ahead. We never said price is our goal. we are not doing this for money. we are doing this because we believe in it.  This community is the best one i have ever seen.

I cannot promise the time-frame of our developments, but i can promise that they will happen. we are currently working on improving the stability of the chain. While getting more exposure. If we had More Dev's who could work on certain aspects we would be able to work on the other functionalities. However with what it is now, We are focused on improving fairness and stability.

i was not talking about esper, i knew that we won't be rich with it, i'm not here since yesterday, but it has still some potential to rise more

it's all about risk/reward ratio... by the look of the orders, 10 litoshi is the bottom, so selling now is silly as fuck, it can reach 20-50 range, if things are done right

Here is the link to site for download:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/7805-new-cpuminer-multi-fork-with-hmq1725-algorithm-support/

After you unpack it there is two files: RUN-INTEL.bat and RUN-AMD.bat
Edit the one that is corresponding to your cpu and change your pool and/or worker details. save. and run the .bat file

It works for solo mining too. Just point it to your QT wallet. Mined 4 blocks in 6 hours, solo mining. It is indeed about 10% faster than Vorsholk's.

That is the info I need I am unable to make it work when I point it to my QT wallet..

Edit your config file in you espers wallet directory. Espers.conf
in X:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Espers

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
port=22447
rpcport=22440
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

and in your batch file  espers.bat

cpuminer-amd.exe -a hmq1725 -o http://localhost:22440/ -u username -p password

use cpuminer.exe for intel and
cpuminer-amd.exe for amd

i'm no expert.. but i think that will do the trick.

Thanks a lot, it's been a long time since I solo mined, the problem was that I put 127.0.0.1:22440 instead of http://localhost:22440/

Then you missed the decred giveaway (as did I sadly). They got 237 dcr each and even at the current low price, its still 0.8 btc. But most of them had the opportunity to sell at double that or get cheap staking tickets that allowed them to significantly increase their holdings

The last time I heard this was the WARP developer saying it... Maybe price may not be your goal, but for me it is. Tell me when you have built a product that is worth $100 per person.

It means "quiet", disable per-thread hashmeter output. It shows only the total hashrate from all cores.
Maybe it saves some cycles from CPU allowing for slightly better hashes.

when all the giveway users have dumped, the price will go up ;-)

Pretty much Smiley

Its very quiet in here today.

It is. We don'tlike it but everyone is working on the gpu miner

who are the programmers behind the gpu miner, are you working with the official programmer from ccminer and sgminer, or you ar emaking your own miner?

I'm working on sgminer, which doesn't have an "official" programmer any longer (unless you count nicehash in).

i thought was wolfo the programmer there, but good to see you working on it anyway, are we going to pay for this miner, or you will receive bounty from dev?

I've actually just pmd Pallas asking him about that Smiley
Will find out soon I'm sure.

No matter pallas had been very upstanding in his development. Thank you pallas

This allows us to go back to focus on feature development instead of the gpu miner at the moment.

Just fyi for anyone wondering. Cpu mining is still very viable especially with the optimized miner.
And no, we don't have a private miner, we aren't running aGpu and we will release the miner asap. Can't rush good work.

when the next giveaway? thanks dev

It will be announced (I believe start) next Monday which will be the end of the current client 're theme competition going on

The command for the cpu miner I use is:

Code:
cpuminer -a hmq1725 -o 127.0.0.1:22440 -u yourusername -p yourpassword -t 2

That uses 2 threads.

My espers.conf is:

Code:
listen=1
server=1
maxconnections=50
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
port=22447
rpcport=22440
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
