New to cryptocurrencies and following this thread. It seems airdrop coins are free. We may get benefit if we get and sell them. But, I'm reading some posts stating airdrops could be a scam. Just wondering how could we be scammed here.. any insights for my education?

Airdrop is free coin but if you are wanna buying it right now and never try to do it. The scam airdrop just like deeponion because the developers are holding over 90% percent pre mined token and they can dump it and take all of the money in the market.

Hardly will one move throught the Altcoin Anouncement page without finding one, one just need to be patient with these projects, those that will win, will do well

Seems people are just adding to this thread, so in case it's been missed, DeepONION.  Kind of a modified signature campaign / airdrop, I'm not too  picky about nomenclature.  Details found in my signature, or go directly the the DO ANN.  SHould be week 13 of 40 now, and the rules do change as things have progressed, so if you weren't eligible before, you may be now.

This airdrop wind turn to a disaster. Forum full of with airdrop topics and even names are pretty silly  like eltc3, eltc2...
people trying to grab couple $ but it effecting market for real coins.
I hope forum mods will ban that kind of topics soon.

This really looks fishy, the website is just some text and the airdrop was cancelled and the dev is keeping all the coins because of... 'reasons'. Think this was another attempt at a EthD scheme.

EthereumCash has already done a first round of airdrop and will do more in the future. Looks real clean and the dev seems alright. Worth checking out.

They closed airdrop application in one hour... Its not fair...  

That's why they are doing more rounds - so it will be fair. Not their fault their airdrop was popular and filled up quickly  

Shows the interest from the community and their great support. Dev is real awesome and skilled. Maybe thats why it filled so fast, next time be there in time and grab your share  

Airdrops thread were easily deleted, didn't even got a chance to register, thats why whenever I read some airdrop thread, I will really join, but friends tells me to research still since were going to put our email on it.

May i ask how do we judge if the airdrop is worth going for? And whether it will be valuable joining them? I believe not everyone will be eligible for any airdrop yeah?

You might receive such amount free coins but the air drop you mention has happened 72 days ago and the OP of this thread was actually talking about some air drop which are yet to come in other for people not to miss the opportunity.

There's a bunch of those type of coins being launched during the week. Once the takeoff of eBTC, the trend is getting a little popular.
