Exactly what the title says.
If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?
I personally would buy more bitcoin.
Is this possible what could have cause such drop? There could be major flaws if this happen,this could be the end of bitcoin and if that happen I would move on a new coin,but I hope this will not happen.. |

Bitcoin is not dropping now and if it will drop than it can be not drop to that low because it will also rise soon and that can be perfect for the people with Bitcoin already.
So that is perfect for them the bad thing is that it can takes a long time until it will be more worth.
Here we are doing like survey only bro. Just think if drops, I will surely buy more and more and leave it for years and surely it will regain its price like what happen for the past years and by that we can be millionaire just like them. I will leave it and and continue life offline and do my daily choice and job and after long years and check if i got profit with who knows. I can buy a many 5 star hotels in California and I earn lot in fiat as well. You certainly are 'dreaming the dream,' aren't you? I wonder when that'll happen. I mean, if Bitcoin value did drop at $1, don't you think there will be a panic buying and supplies aren't probably gonna last since many other 'users' are going to hoard the most they can get, in hopes of making millions, billions even, of profit. |

We don't want this to happen indeed cause most of us here expects for a price increase. Since this is just a what if's question or survey, we really don't know, no one knows rather what would happen for the future. So what I can say is, let's just cherish what we have now and just go on with the flow.

I would sell all my btc before it reaches 1$,maybe when the price is around 200-300$.
After it reaches 1$ i will start buying again.
But when it reaches 1$, this might be the end of bitcoin.

The chance is really low that the Bitcoin can drop to such a low value and that because they see that Bitcoin is going to be stable and rising slowly soon so that would be nice.
But if that will happen later in the future than there will be a lot of people that is stopping using Bitcoin.

If i reach that time when 1 bitcoin will worth 1 dollar then i will do nothing, i will not sell them, maybe i will risk few dollars to buy few bitcoin but selling at that time is not a good option. |

If it happened like that… Imagine some people gave up on it; some faucets even poured out bitcoins instead of satoshis; haha I’d like to see the look on their faces when it suddenly rises back up and they feel like the betrayed themselves.  |

But the question is, what if? I mean, if it did happen (which is nearly, but not really impossible), at least we have a little bit of information that we could do. As for me, I'll probably hoard a few tens or hundreds if possible and risk if the value will go up again. |

I don't really know what i will do when happen smth like this, maybe i will start working on daily job or will try to work with altcoin but i will never stop forget bitcoin.
Your situation would be the common scenario if we face bitcoin price dropped to $1. Most of the people will not find what to do next. But, many people still believe that bitcoin will bounce back very soon. This kind of belief, will not make bitcoin to fall as the above. You are right. Because of the faith, all the bit coiners having on bitcoin, definitely not let bitcoin to fall down to $1 levels. So, any dumping towards lower price will be overcome by the people who are looking for new buying opportunity in bitcoin. yeah of course not everyone will sell their bitcoin. there are some people who bought and rescued bitcoin. such as when a few years ago when the price of bitcoin very rapidly down to below $ 200 and it was very fast. If I'm going to withhold and sell it if the price kmbali as normal because it will benefit me. The increase and decrease in the price of bitcoin is very reasonable and it is very common. I'm sure if it reduces the prices will rise and certainly to our benefit.

I will collect 1000 coins if I see that price in near future, as I don't think that bitcoin will fall that low in coming years, its just an unrealistic value to think of.
I guess it is the best timing to invest when that happens and you've got a lot of money bro, but still we don't want it to fall down to $1. We really just need to enjoy every price increase of bitcoins. And you are right it is very unreal if bitcoin will fall to $1. I will say that there was a time when the price of dogecoin was much better and a number of people and businesses were interested in it and invest in it but after that the price dropped down to a much lowest value and people started to flew away from that coin, so the same will happen with bitcoin when it fell down to that much value, and then everyone will openly say that bitcoin is dying. so we do not have to think about that as no one will invest including you. |

For those who said that they will buy bitcoin when it dropped to $1 I'm in the same boat with you guys. I would definitely buy 1000 BTC if possible then wait again for the perfect time to sell half of my bitcoin then wait again, profit.  |
