I must say I am somewhat tired of seeing ICOs. There are some very lofty goals set here by the development team. If they can be achieved RISE will have an excellent future. I am investing a little bit regardless, but inevitably I will "believe it when I see it."

Hope it all works out well. Didn't buy any Lisk, and only have a few WAVES to account for. I enjoy mining significantly more

You didn't bought anything yet. You have a option to buy x number of coins but the price is not fixed. The price is linked to the total amount of BTCs that arrive in the ICO address. Only on the 24th you will know the real number of coins that you bought with your BTCs. So basically at end of ICO.

I still think there should be a longer period between closing the ICO and launching the coin. It's the best time to create value. Look at Lisk, 350% in 1,5 month time.

Then you will have exchanges that list the coin without having coins and put the wallet in maintenance, so who win money then? and who lose money? Directly launch would be the best.

Direct launch doesn't help. Some time between launch and exchanges build up anticipation.  Why would I rush to put coins in toward the end if I know it's launching on exchanges the next day?
