@Risevison

Would there be any chance of you doing a special bonus weekend for those that was unaware of RISE or had there funds wrapped up in other projects within the first weeks of the sale? I am sure people would be willing to release profits from other projects and maybe more if the above could be done?

What do ya think?

I agree. I have no idea what's gonna happen to be honest. It could be epic. I think underbought is an understatement.  Wink

Think of it... if you bought ETH for 1 BTC.... it was now worth 24 BTC...

If you bought LISK for 1 BTC... it was worth 5 BTC at a certain moment...

Really was the expectation 1250 BTC? I think 2000 BTC can be possible, remember, we will have a lot of new BTCs after the Waves dump.

//=================================================//
\\=================================================\\

@RiseVision Team.

I'm sorry, but a few questions should be answered IF you're intending to capture more funds/interest.

[1]. Which exchange(s) will be used? And if an exchange hasn't been chosen, what is the plan for it?
   \\== If the latter, is this being delayed because of the developments current state?

[2]. Will a Windows wallet be ready before launch? OR is it expected everyone should have Ubuntu or OS/X?
   \\== If the former, it needs to be stated so that your investors are prepared. And also, would the wallet work using Windows and a Virtual Machine running Ubuntu/Linux?

[3]. Educate a non-coder, what's the monetary value prop for a developer that builds a DAPP. How will DAPP's even be marketed to the general public?

[4]. Will any of the funds be directed into marketing? Is there awareness in the community amongst developers about the project? How many developers are even interested in the project? How many support the project? These are pretty important questions.

Anyway, I have invested in your ICO and want to invest more, however without answers to the first two questions - at minimum - it makes it a bit difficult too. It also feels as if your team is avoiding the question which slightly feels shady at this point. But please provide disclosure in regards to question 1 & more info about question 2.

Best,
A front-end developer

Let's see how the signature looks like ;-)
740 btc so far so 1250 is definitely possible with 12 days to go.

[1]. Which exchange(s) will be used? And if an exchange hasn't been chosen, what is the plan for it?

There have been exchanges in touch with us but we are not inclined to say who they are until they are ready to make the announcement.

Worth remembering that a cryptocurrency doesn't chose the exchange, that's not the way it works. An exchange choses the cryptocurrency. It's then up to the exchange to announce that we are being added.

   \\== If the former, it needs to be stated so that your investors are prepared. And also, would the wallet work using Windows and a Virtual Machine running Ubuntu/Linux?

Desktop wallets will be available for launch.

The team considered it high enough priority to ensure this happens and Justin posted about this in his blog on May 31st and adjusted the Roadmap.

Roadmap Update May 31st: https://rise.vision/blog/post/daily-dev-update-tuesday-may-31st-2016

[3]. Educate a non-coder, what's the monetary value prop for a developer that builds a DAPP. How will DAPP's even be marketed to the general public?

Initially there are bounties for DAPP development, however the sustainable model is one based on fees collected from people using the developers decentralised apps. It maybe that the developer wants to charge a set sum for somebody to have access to the (d)app, then there is the microtransactions model for in app purchase, similar to the kind we see in Google PlayStore.

[4]. Will any of the funds be directed into marketing? Is there awareness in the community amongst developers about the project? How many developers are even interested in the project? How many support the project? These are pretty important questions.

During the ICO we've had Justin undertaking the vast majority of the coding. Once we have access to funds two other developers that are listed on team members will become full time under supervision of the lead developer. Additionally a fourth potential developer based in China has reached out to us, we will announce the fourth person as soon as he's confirmed.

That leads on to marketing and other parts of the team, we are building up awareness right now and have been for the last several weeks. As far as I know we are the first cryptocurrency to offer an affiliate marketing referral system allowing literally anybody to participate. We have over 4000 regsitered users and growing from all around the world.

Marketing Rise is and will continue to be a gradual process and our reach is expanding daily, Rome was not built in one day, only yesterday we added a QQ group and we're using our contact that created the group to speak to a Chinese exchange called 8btc.com. Funds will of course be used to build awareness for Rise. Attending cryptocurrency events to share Rise Vision is going to be a key part of our marketing plan. Right now we have almost 600 people using our signature, over 1300 twitter followers and this thread is about to hit 100K views. There has been advertising on coinmarketcap , we've been featured in the number one japanese cryptocurrency news outlet: http://cryptocurrencymagazine.com/rise-crowd-sale and press releases are going out.

For anybody that missed, our first ever public talk was on June 8th:  https://youtu.be/-iZqS5lc-Qg?t=5m40s  <<< talks like that will continue to be part of our marketing campaign to spread awareness.

Admittedly it can get quite hard to follow everything in the thread because the info that you feel we've been avoiding related to questions one and two has been posted already, I hope the above sums it up adequately.

The announcements section in the OP, our blog on rise.vision and our official twitter account @risevisionteam are all good places to keep up to date on the most important things. Alternatively there is always hipchat for a direct conversation with one of the team.
