You guys should have created your website first so you'd be taken seriously by the users here just like how they look the Waves. You still have a week to create a site, you need not to have a heavy graphic designs but jsut a simple site to showcase your plans.

Rise has a website just around the corner, if not today then most likely Monday or Tuesday. Reasons for the delay is there is a user login and tracking function that the developers are finishing off.

where is the white paper?

There is a white paper that is going to detail security and ease of use functionality, it's on it's way once testnet is up.

After speaking with Justin, the lead developer, his priority after fixing a firewall problem (that was preventing provisioning / configuration on the server for a release of testnet yesterday)... was that he was 90% ready in terms of being able to make it public. I would expect it to be released very soon.

Hello all!

Our Testnet is Operational.

For the moment, while we are making major changes to the engine, we are managing all of the nodes ourselves, to make upgrading between testnet releases easier. Before we move to main, we will have multiple resets and releases on testnet to ensure stability. We will be providing a full scale test on testnet approximately a month prior to mainnet launch, focusing on node additions, scaling, and performance. We will also conduct a wide scale security audit prior to moving off of testnet, after scaling and performance audits are complete.

Testnet is currently a single node, running at http://testnet.rise.vision. Yes, it is currently running in standard HTTP, we are going to be integrating LetsEncrypt into the node itself in the coming weeks.

We will be tracking bugs on the rise-core github. If you find any bugs, please create an issue for it.

Use Gitter for discussion. You can access it from our rise-core github repository.
