Project Manager Alty - also originally CloakCoin - has been missing for months. Looks like he went on holiday with those BTC funds converted to fiat.
McVenture - is Alty still the Project Manager of RIsE?
Hi coinmenace, yes Alty is still Project Manager and co-founder of Rise. Is he in control? How can he let your developers suck out a great portion of investors money with any concrete delivery? Now you are back to cloning LISK because lisk has made a lot of progress and fixed issues. You did not have to spend a lot of time and money to do that. The remaining co-founders (Scifi.rem and Alty) are in control of the project. Yes, there was a severe lack of progress from the developers which is exactly why they were taken off the project to stop the fund bleed. The founders are committed to see this project through to deliver according to the goals set forth during the ICO. The Rise team is in the middle of the handover of critical Rise platform elements and the transition to a new dev. As you correctly mentioned, LSK has fixed the forging/forking issues that were crippling it before so the most efficient method to put RISE forging into the hands of the community as soon as possible is to update the current Rise codebase with the latest LSK release. The elements that make Rise different such as Multi code language support, Dapp building tools and Smart Contract builder are still going to be pursued. Everything Alty touch turns into scams. This is not an exception with Rise.

Rise 2.0? just clone LISK. don't add anything more. just clone it again when LISK updates & fixes bugs, and say you also updated RISE.

I've updated the site http://www.scammer dot tk @Frank Thijssen Your interference is annoying. These guys stole money. Mr. Blind eye presented an outlook which convinced investors to.. invest. So many months later these guys present investors with nothing. In fact it's many steps back. These guys are 1 of the most stupid guys I've every seen. Converting 100% of ICO funds to fiat? Why the hell would you do that? Yes poor management Waiting 8 months and then turn the plug out? Dumping more rise coins when it was able to trade (Inside trading is a scam, they knew one eye would need to learn a lot and it would take a lot of time). If you don't seize your actions promoting this scam, you're guilty like them and actions (at least mine) will include you. @Porte Can you or anyone prepare an escrow address to gather funds. Funds will be used for several things. - A premium press release to make their names be in the black book of the Internet - Legal work Strategy now is to get a press release out with PRNEWSWIRE to 1) Announce to the world and every one who searches for Justin Donnaruma Cormac Lucking Steven Remington Will see a press message on thousands of sites stating they scammed a lot of people. Whatever they will do from now; investors, friends and relatives will see they deal with a bunch of scammers. 2) The premath of an class action suit, if the SEC result turn negative.

No way. Not before we make them infamous on the interwebs. 1 press release will be published on a thousand of websites. Whoever googles their names will come to a article how they scammed us. They will Never be able to loan 1700 BTC let alone 1000 dollar.

There are people in this world who are angry and tear things down, and then there are those who unite and build things up.
Some of the most successful people I know in my life are those who build on things and lift up others naturally. It's like in their blood. In their DNA. I'm sure some people know what I'm talking about. I strive to be like those people and build others up and not tear them down.
In business, things happen. You repair and build up. I support Rise and what they are doing and I am going to stand behind them. You can build websites and stuff and mock them but these guys put their names and faces out there from day one. If people are going to run a scam they aren't going to do that. When I read some of these previous posts it's obvious they have no idea what's going on, they just want to tear people down. I go read their latest posts and it's all anger and hatred. I've never understood that. Why people are so angry all the time. I guess it's just in their DNA.

What a disaster this Rise project has become. It is seeing its Downfall. It's just amazing, laughable at best. Now back to cloning LISK? And they had all these statement of building Rise 2.0 and not a clone of Lisk anymore.
Unbelievable.

Anyone using those?

I sold my ICO coins at 600 sat and accepted the loss. This project has failed. Future promises will not help.

Since all those BTC were already exchanged to fiat a long time ago, there is no way to track it, McVenture should tell how much is left. Also they should provide the address of the premine & forged coins moved out in exchanges. Then buy back all the Rise coins. They probably made a lot dumping other Rise coins since it was moved to Bittrex before.
