Mmm.. is not that hard, but yes you need some Linux skills to maintain a vps node up and running 24/7

And yes is possible, if/when some delegates starts to run "pools" meaning if you vote for them (with your coins in your wallet) you will gain a stake according to your weight and this delegate/pool will reward all his voters accordingly. For example Lisk and Shift has delegates running as pools and you can earn coins voting for them.

In the moment you vote a delegate (lets say) with 100k $rise you are supporting him in the network and this delegate knows that your address is voting him... so he collect all the addresses and its weight (who are supporting/voting him) and make calculations (based on weights) daily and then at the end of the day you will receive the coins accordingly.

All 101 delegate will forge (if they stays up 24/7) more than 12,000 $rise no matter what rank they are, so if a delegate said he will reward his voters sharing 50% that means he will give 6,000 among their voters.

I think in the initial state of the network you can run a vps with $5 monthly, good and cheap vps. So if a delegate holds his 100% forging $rise at current price of 500 satoshi means 0.06BTC monthly I think more but is an estimation. But I think worth the shot in case of success in all the ideas the team have.
