with all the drama in the DEV team - previous devs kicked out because they did almost nothing after siphoning a lot of the funds, not expecting a lot from RISE. if it will even rise again.

and Alty and scifi.rem are nowhere to be seen in this thread anymore. are they still part of the RISE dev - just taking money / monthly salary of $30K USD and not even showing up in this thread?

Hi @outfitsoul, several things are going on at the moment. To give you a quick breakdown:

• a new Rise mainnet is being prepared for launch, which facilitates the transition Rise is
  making from Lisk to Ark code base. Currently 47 community testers are working with our dev
  among whom a large number are running server nodes on our Testnet.
• Once the old mainnet is switched out with the new, community Delegates will take over
  forging of Rise from the current Genesis nodes to secure the blockchain.

Together with the launch of the new mainnet the following items are being made ready for release:

• a full-featured Rise desktop wallet for Windows, Linux and MacOS
• Rise web wallets will remain available and are upgraded
• New Block Explorer
• New main Rise website (in final stages of development)
• Rise Forum (NodeBB based) upgrade

Aside from the upcoming development updates there is a Rise Delegate Contest as an
incentive to active community members for the purpose of growing the Rise eco-system.
This contest is open to anyone and registration for it is possible until May 31st, 2017.
A total prize pot of 1 Million Rise is made available for the winning participants.

Hi @coinmenace, as the previous announcement indicated the old website is being replaced soon with a new one which will contain all the updated information. Currently all online resources are being moved to new servers and new SSL certs will be issued and installed shortly. Expect some downtime.

No, the tokens are not on the Bittrex exchange. 2 million of the tokens forged were allocated to the Rise Delegate Contest and bounties for community devs and active members who are helping to grow the Rise eco-system. The rest (5,387,215 RISE) will all be burned, which we believe will help the value of Rise and is in accordance with the wishes expressed by our active community.

Carlos (@pconstr) is our developer, and the team is actively looking to add more devs. I'd like to encourage you to join us in our Rise Slack Channel where our team and most of the Rise community gets together and receive immediate updates.

Chipz is an asset token that will be airdropped as a bonus to all Rise holders in proportion to the amount of Rise they possess in their wallet. The first post (OP) of this thread contains some information about Chipz, more details to follow after we finish up updating the Rise mainnet which is currently first priority.

Hey @coinmenace and @cryptodv, the tokens will be burned when the old mainnet is switched out for the new. Alty and Rem are obviously still in the team, they are the founders and the driving force behind Rise. It's my assigned role as community manager to post updates and announcements regarding Rise in this thread. Alty and Rem are in the Rise Slack channel together with all the active Rise Community members (currently a little over 700 members).
