Yes it's not a joke. If you have the guts to buy BTC1 today just go. It's your money after all. Goodluck and remember not to just hold it as it may result for a different result.

The halving is real but I have read that it is going to be canceled but I do not know if this is exactly true or not. The halving could be good for the people that want to buy Bitcoins because it makes the coins allot cheaper. If you want to sell this is less good news.

Yes bitcoin halving is real but it doesn't means price will pump for sure.Pumping depends on how investors, users and miners take this halving, you can't always expect bitcoin's price to double at the time of halving

Indeed... The total ammount of coins right now is about 15.5 million (https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins), at this moment, 25*6*24 = 3600 BTC are mined each day, which isn't a lot compared to the total amount available (0.023%).
In my opinion, this means that mined coins can influence the price, most likely (but not 100% certainly), it will go up... How much is not completely sure.

Also, like being said before: it's a free market with different actors that make the price, which might (or might not) be already counting on the halving (so the price might already reflect the upcoming halving).

There are a lot of discussions about this topic, a lot of people have different opinions about this, and i'm pretty sure nobody can actually predict what the price will do in the end.

Without hesitation buy a bitcoin, even if the halving is not real the steady rise happening from the past week will surely help you grab the profit.

The halving is real but I have read that it is going to be canceled but I do not know if this is exactly true or not [...]

Sorry guys, but where those doubts about the halving come from?
It'is written in the protocol from day one and everyone should know that there will be only 21 millions of BTC mined, no matter what. This limited supply is made possible by halving the rewards of mined blocks every about 4 years.
These are fundamental points of Bitcoin; it would have another name without these features.

Also, do not forget that this isn't the first time an halving happens.

No one says its not real though. halving means less supply of bitcoin thus making its value rise.
If you buy 1 btc today, its value may rise up to 50% of it or more. so its a good investment but why just 1? if you really intend to earn more go for more.

Enough people mentioned already that the block halving is real I guess....

If your budget only allows you to buy 1 BTC, then stick to buying 1 BTC, but if you have the funds to buy more, then definitely buy more.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

haha, funny topic. it is not like asking Santa is real!

halving is as real as it gets, as abacusit pointed out it has been like this from the beginning (the bitcoin code is this way).

and if you are looking to buy bitcoin, i would suggest you to buy it as soon as possible because soon you might regret it just like those who are regretting not buying at $200. because soon the big rise is going to happen and you will miss out.

Yeah the Bitcoin halving is real it makes the Bitcoin price lower so people who want to buy Bitcoins can buy them at a cheaper price then normal. For the people who want to sell this is not a good time but you can always invest in more Bitcoin.

This is pure nonsense.
Not sure if you are trolling or what, but it is just a few centuries that this economic law is well known:
Quote
According to Hamid S. Hosseini, the power of supply and demand was understood to some extent by several early Muslim scholars, such as fourteenth-century Syrian scholar Ibn Taymiyyah, who wrote: "If desire for goods increases while its availability decreases, its price rises. On the other hand, if availability of the good increases and the desire for it decreases, the price comes down."

Bitcoin halving happens every 4 years and its hard embedded into the code so it cannot be changed, so every 4 years we will see that the supply gets filled less and less which means existing coins will be more valuable given that the demand remains the same, and guess what, the demand is only growing and about go to the moon, so now its the best time ever to buy unless you have a time machine to go back to 2009

Good to know this because if the halving is coming I can finally buy some coins again. It has been a while that I bought some Bitcoins again. I now have to keep paying attention to the price because I do not want to miss it.

The Bitcoin halving will be there of course but it is hard to say for what is going to happen with the currency because it kept stable for a long time and that is not the best thing that can happen.
The most people are hoping that the value will be more in the future so they can sell it with a huge profit.

Ofcourse halvin is real. Cheesy You must be referring to the speculation that once halving happens, the price will rise. Well that is only a speculation so there is really no assurance if that will happen or not.

Yes it is 100% real! You could see its impact in past few months and in the past week it's impact was much more pronounced. The speculated date of halving is very near so bitcoins must be brought as soon as possible to get good returns.
