I am using it as both currency and investment but I am keeping approximately 80% of my Bitcoin stash as investment and 20% for online purchases. I am trying to use fiat for my daily expenses and I am keeping my Bitcoin long-term as a store of value because the price could be huge in a couple of years.

well, i hope that some day i could use it much more as a currency, but the truth is that im using it right now as investment and i think that most of us are doing the same, you know, mostly of bitcoiners really think that this is just the beginning and the price will change soon or later.... so i use both, but mostly as investment.

Yes same as you i really use both for bitcoin because bitcoin is like physical curriencies it flexible and easy to use and if you invest in bitcoin you will surely earn big money with it and you can get big returns and depending on your strategy in bitcoin doings and also bitcoin is good to use as curriency because it has low fee and transaction well be done easily with bitcoin.

I use it actually almost exclusively as a currency, although not very frequently. Bitcoin is the best way if you want to transfer sometimes small amounts from one country to another ("remittances"), because money transfer companies and also most international ATMs have a minimum fee of about $5 or even more, so if you transfer less than let's say 100$, more than 5% of your money is "eaten" by the service itself.

If you make a sum of all fees (2 exchanges with 0,5%-1% each), you can even afford the Bitcoin price to fall up to 3-4% while making your transfer. Because volatility is way lower than 2-3 years ago, that's a manageable risk, and you most of the time are winning.

I am actively spending my bitcoins, no all of them of course, as I set my budget goals and I try to save more than I spent.
I feel like my bitcoin 'fortune' is not enough to keep it as an investment so I don't really care.
Saving bitcoins for me will be harder from now on, since I noticed today that Steam is now accepting direct bitcoin payments.

Now that Steam accepts Bitcoin I may be more prone to spend some of it but only the money that I get paid in Bitcoin like signature campaigns. I will never buy Bitcoin to spend it on stuff, I only buy Bitcoin for long term storage because buying Bitcoin to spend it on stuff when I can directly buy it with fiat is pretty nonsensical.

I always use it as a currency, but while I keep it safe in my wallet it would be an investment for me.
That's what I like from Bitcoin, keeping it for gaining more value.

I have used Bitcoin as currency in the past but now with the upcoming halving and the expected price increase and stuff I am exclusively storing my Bitcoins as a long-term investment. There is no need to spend coins on items right now if I can use fiat instead because it's a waste of future profits if the value of Bitcoin triples or quadruples in the next few years.

i am doing both, and bitcoin is good for both purposes too. i use it as an investment since i have bought at low prices and also because i am trading it. but it is a good way of making online transaction like for paying for stuff.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

i'm using it purely as for investment. the reason is that i dont trust it enough as a payment method and i thing that as for now there are better options for currency. maybe in the future i will change my attitude...

I'm also doing this, I have the most of my bitcoins as a investment and the other part is just for gambling or other digital goods, I do not spend them in real life.
I think its good to now hold our bitcoins for the most part because it has a good profitable future this year.

I am investing in Bitcoin as a investment and of course it will be later if it becomes more popular it will be a better currency also, but it takes time to rise and we need patience.
You already can see now that the value is going to rise slowly and that Bitcoin is also getting more acceptable so that is quite nice.
