I'm looking at a location to put some miners and it may be the only Internet access is satellite or mobile through Verizon.

Is this doable with a 10 GB/mo data cap? I'm not worried about bandwidth, just the data usage I would get charged for.

Thanks

Unless you're also planning to put a full bitcoin node there or solo mine on-site, then it's not a problem as mining on a pool uses very little actual bandwidth itself.

I was using less than 10% of my 10 Gig cap on mining, running 5 A2 Terminators, 5 S5s and a SP20.

Seems like most miners for SHA256 or Scrypt use quite a bit less than 1K/s of data, when I've bothered looking at data usage with available LINUX tools.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

It is doable with a 10 GB/month data cap. By the way I recommend joining kano.is minning pool.

You make a slightly higher profit than antminer.

Bandwidth, it is very minimum, however, mobile internet or satellite internet to mine with S7 is not so recommended.  Mining now days, need a reliable always on internet connection.

10GB data plan, that is more than enough, and yes, it can run but please pay special attention to your network connection!!
