is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?

Never and ever, US Dollar is United State currency, and Dollar is too big than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is just only cryptocurrency.
Too much different both of them.
I think before my birth USD was here, and bitcoin is recently come in this world.

Yup. Definitely before we were here, USD was already circling around the world. If we look at the historical records, I'm pretty sure that the congress that issued us dollar are all dead.

Yes USD took almost 40 times more time than bitcoins and I can assure you if btc runs even 1/4th time of what USD is running from, bitcoins will be the most popular currency ever.

USD is being supported by all countries in the world. Tell me, by what country is Bitcoin getting its support?

Governments have the power to make the majority of their people obey to them, so if they want you to use their fiat currencies, they will make sure you do.

Bitcoin is just a piece of technology that offers people freedom and an alternative to fiat, but so many people don't seem to realize that. That's the sad thing. That must change.

bitcoin is also globally accepted everywhere, but only banned in few country, the fact that not many are using it it does not mean that it is not accepted there, just not well known

I was not talking about the merchant acceptance of Bitcoin around the world.

I am talking about the fact that Bitcoin doesn't get any governmental support from any country.

In order to get the average person to fully adopt Bitcoin it needs support from the governments and banks as they are where so many people have a lot trust in.

They take nearly everything their government and banks say for granted instead of doing their own research. It's beyond insane!

I don't agree. Although you're right in diagnosing a high sheeple factor among the general population this factor usually turns violently into the opposite when the failure of government can no longer be denied (i.e. the (fiat) money is gone).

I think Bitcoin will not be adopted because of government approval. It will be adopted despite government's disapproval. Look at Bitcoin's existing history. It's a constant rise. Did governments approve it. Hardly! When the fiat system finally collapses - which can happen anytime between now and two decades - people will desperately seek any asset to store their remaining wealth. It will be a stampede running for sound money - precious metals and Bitcoin. Government will have no say in this, because it will be effectively nonexistent during these dark times.

Bitcoin will be the future payment method and that is really nice but you can see now that USD is still bigger now so that is nice, but that will change later in the future.

In future too bitcoin won't be get used much as we see people using dollars. The growth will increase but in reality people accept with limitations as a earning source and as a investment. Only little use as a currency.

because one is deflationary the other inflationary, one is scarce, the other is still printed without a stop, not comparable, bitcoin is more comparable to gold imho

Best answer is here. A thing that is rare gets a good value specially when it gets popular. Gold is the best comparison like he says, if gold is depleted in this world you will a huge increase in its price.

I think if we ever live up to that (when there will be no government around), Bitcoin will be the last thing that we will care about. Ammo, water, canned food will be highly valued instead of now useless digital tokens (Mad Max style)...

In other words, government is an insurance for Bitcoin existence and well-being

Bitcoin will be now more used as a payment method and that is really nice because some people likes also to earn some money with Bitcoin so that is nice.
But of course you dont know what is going to happen in the future later but it will be nice if the value will be higher.

Well not really. If you are comparing two currencies, one of the first qualities I would look for is whether it's centralized or decentralized. I would much prefer a decentralized currency over a centralized one.

Fiat currencies are inferior to bitcoin, because it doesn't act as a store of value in the long term. It also doesn't offer the portability that bitcoin offers, as well as the anonymity that bitcoin offers.
