USD is a lot bigger then btc is right now this is because USD has been in the game for so long and bitcoin hasn't yet.
Also the currency of the most powerful people is USD so they won't allow bitcoin to lose them money.

it is definitely bigger but in the future i think bitcoin will have potential to replace usd

bitcoin will never replace anything. not sure why some people still think it's possible. bitcoin will remain alternative to fiat currencies for people that like to have financial freedom. the fact that there is no central authority, is what makes people scared. they can't understand how this is possible. these people will most likely continue to use fiat basically for ever.

Yes the dollar has many more users but besides that also many more years of existance which makes it naturally bigger already.

It can be. With illegal transactions this bitcoin could be used. There wont be any trace with the one selling guns or weapons of mass destruction if bitcoin price will go up. With just a little number of bitcoin that is equal to almost millions of dollars the trade will be easier and no one will suspect it.

in my opinion bitcoin is dependant on the usd value. if USD value increases then people will change their currency into usd if it weakens then people will jump onto btc.

If you're talking about the "usd value" as in dollar index, i have to say i disagree. Bitcoin doesn't really care much for the strenght of the dollar. More over, Bitcoin doesn't care about most macro econ events - only thing I've really seen Bitcoin react to is the yuan devaluation.

For me it is not a good thing that we are going to compare USD vs bitcoin because they are both useful and doing good to all of us. And besides the price of bitcoin is depending on USD so it is playing an important role for the exchange of the bitcoin. And yeah, I believe that too the bitcoin is going to grow and going to be used by people all over the world.

For me it is not a good thing that we are going to compare USD vs bitcoin because they are both useful and doing good to all of us. And besides the price of bitcoin is depending on USD so it is playing an important role for the exchange of the bitcoin. And yeah, I believe that too the bitcoin is going to grow and going to be used by people all over the world.

I agree with you because bitcoin will not progress without USD, US has one of the biggest supporters of bitcoin therefore if we lost them it will affect the value of bitcoin and we might see another big crisis.

This is a very rude question. And the answer is very obvious too there's no bitcoin yet but there is USD already. So USD is much popular there are many people used USD from very start and even if you are a bitcoin user you also use a USD. Its that too obvious?
