Wow...It's been so long.  If I were desperate and in need of money, I would probably start thinking about getting a job.  If I could not find a job with my qualifications, then I would probably start thinking about receiving an education.  If I could not secure a formal education, then I would educate myself utilizing the free resources available to me such as public libraries and the internet.  If none of that worked out, then I would probably sell some of my gold.

Get gettin a quick time job is much better than asking for a loan,because that is only gonna increase problem because things like interest and all.
Second option should be selling some stuffs in house which is not that useful for us but may be sell in good price.

Whatever you're going to do, never borrow money from banks. That's probably the worst decision you can take. Try to do services to be paid like those you can find at Services, join a signature campaign and you'll be fine in a few days or weeks. Borrowing can go wrong.

Why? What is wrong with borrowing with banks? I think that is the most legitimate way so you will not make a debt of gratitude from any person, banks are legitimate business and if they will lend money it should come with a little interest.

If I am in desperate need for money, then maybe I would sell all my bitcoins no matter what the price is. I know it should be a wiser decision to 'wait' for a better price but hypothetically I was desperate. When the money from my bitcoins isn't enough, then maybe I'll ask for loans from my friends and maybe ask them to not put any interest as well.

I would also look for smarter ways to earn money than my current main income source because I wouldn't be desperate in the first place if my income was pretty good.

You're right. In most poor countries, wages barely enough to buy food and pay the required fees. People do not have any assets that can be sold. So they borrow or rent out their jewelry to a pawnshop and getting poorer.

Yeah yoi can't start educating yourself or just start to find a job after you become desperate. You'd have to do that early on to avoid being in the situation of desperation. Most people who are like this are those who tend to disregard saving. It's imporant so that in case ther will come a time like that, you're not left in the mud without any contingencies

Poor people does not have jewelry that they can pawned in the pawnshop because in my opinion of the word poor, those are under poverty who are just earning an income not even enough to buy healthy food.. In the case they have jewelry to pawned, maybe they become poor because they prioritize their wants than their needs.

Or, another option is pawned your jewelries or other valuable items that way,you can redeem whenever you have cash again. But,I always lend on my family members,those who has spare money to spend. That way no need a collateral and no interest.

when you are in desperate need of money, you have a problem about money, and to solve the problem you need to look for the money and that is a hard task to do. I have been in the situation many times and I thank God because he is guiding me every time I have a money problem, my relatives really help me a lot in times of trouble.

I am happy for you to have a good relative that actually understand and solve your finacial problems in time of need, not everybody that has relative who can understand and solve their problems,as for you, you are lucky enough.

And not all people in desperate need of money are also willing to approach their relatives, some keep their price even if a very desperate times as they do not want to have a debt of gratitude.

Yep right, they will be happy to survive in tough situations but never let others know what they are going through. I think if I was in desperate need of bitcoins though I would ask my parents and brother because I believe they love me and I am still a kid to them, no matter what age I grow to, so they will always help me.

Well, if they didn't have any gold then they could sell some of their antiques or take out a mortgage on one of their properties.  They could also cash in their IRA's early or get a home equity loan.  There's lot's of possibilities for those who started planning early....right?

Well we are not the same but if i am desperate the only thing in my mind is to get loan here with collateral since many members right now in lending section can help you for loan but you need to give a collateral.. in trading i don't touch those thing because i need them to increase the price or sell in the right time..

And since you are already a high ranked member you can easily get a loan without collateral also.

The big question is, how much loan are you willing to avail or how much loan a lender are willing to extend to you?

It's something you cannot control because you are the one who is in need and when in desperate need, I would think that you are in need of more money that a certain bitcointalk account cannot be guaranteed as a collateral or not enough for the lender to convince to extend you loan.
