of course before you sell the valuable goods yours you should try to get the money in a fast manner but certainly avoid gambling. if you have no other choice you can try to sell your precious items if you do not have any valuable items you can borrow money to other people. but you must becareful with great interest

Gambling is the most stupid stuff you will do when you are in need in money.  Visualize this, you sold your valuable things for lesser its actual value just to get money as fast as you can. Then after you got the money, you run to gamble it to think you can have double it.  It would be good if you won but if you lost? What will you  do next?

Exactly, that a crazy thing to do, or maybe you will be in desperate need of money because you lose all your money in gambling that why you are having a financial problem. But really gambling is not the main answer as there are a lot method to do to be safe and get our goal.

If I were really desperate in need of money there are a lot of things that I'm thinking to do and I won't do criminal acts at all.
1. Going to ask my parents to give/lend me money.
2. I'm going to use my savings.

I think that for most people money is the problem. Only 1% of the population of the Earth is rich but even for many of them money still is the problem. If you are in desperate need of money don't think you should do anything to get them, that's the biggest mistake many people make ending up in jail or dead.

Interesting topic, and after reading comments I can say one thing for sure many people here were never hungry, and cause of that you will never understand what would someone do in desperate need for money. Your parents were rich, or you had luck to be born in some nice place.
And I hope you will never have a chance in your life to find out how its like.

I know what would I do, cause I already did it. Now I`m good, I have a work and I have some little salary, but before it wasn't like that. And even I was in better situation then some of my friends, I saw and felt this " no money, no food " situation, while others had everything in their possession. Bad things fall on my mind, and I understand when someone take a gun and go out to " finish things".

Loan. Most people will loan out from friends or institutions just to solve money problem temporarily. But the best solution is to have a steady income, invest and earn more so that there will be no time that you will have shortage of money. You just need to work hard to do it.

Agree, having no savings and you encountered an emergency will surely give you the worst decision that you will make. That's sacrificing things you want like hobbies or even putting yourself in a risk like doing crimes just to get that money you need.

When I was getting good returns without investing money, I decided to invest and give a try. I opted in domain name reselling business and within a year I got amazing returns. I will advice to devote 70% of your time to study the things which you want to try, you will mostly succeed.

I now have a lot of altcoins I've invested that I store on exchange sites and I guess I can just convert them to btc and then to fiat if I really will need to money desperately. but as of now I'll just keep it there as I'm going to wait for their value to go up.

Pretty much knowledge is power.  And need to apply it of course to get a result.  This will take some time though,  in an urgent need for money, and you have never established your fortress for income generating stuff, all you can do is sell what is in your stash.  If you have enough credential, you can apply for loan.  Then you can go back to learning after all things are settled.  Learn from all the experience you had to avoid repeating tight situations.

well sometimes it is really hard to get a job so it is easier to say than to actually do it, i think i would sell all of my bitcoins i have in order to get money for a living and then find a job after some time

This is not the best way because banks will ask you if you have a job or work..and they are asking about your monthly earnings before they can decide to lend you.. so this is not a good way better to look for a job or instant job even here in online it can help..

The person has to go through their entire inventory and figure / sort what values that can have even a chance to be sold.

That would be the worst case scenario. But I believe all of us have friends where we can turn to whenever we are in need. I am sure they can help you in your emergency and loan you some money. You can pay them up when you are thru the hard times and well and working again. Just be sure to work and not be a lazy person and rely on them all the time or else they will be tired of helping you.
