Premier League is finally back today with Brentford vs Arsenal match!
I enjoyed following Brentford in Championship last season and during play-offs but Premier League and Arsenal are on a different level.
This two teams played friendly match last year and Bretnford won 3:2, and Arsenal is missing few players for this match.
Safest bet in this match would be playing on goals, maybe both team to score and over 2.5 goals, but Arsenal will probably win and I think that odds are not bad.
Ivan Toney is amazing player for home team that played great in pre-season, even drawing with Manchester United.

None of those players are capable of carrying a team to triumph in the same way that Messi did, and there are certain players who leave a hole that lasts decades. Well, you didn't include the key person Depay in your statement, thus Ansu Fati is the only player I trust to make an impact.

Good to see PL kicking off tomorrow and I can't wait to see MAN United in action (my favorite club from day one). In the history of club, players comes and go but it's the club with which we have affiliations. I sided with MAN United no matter which players are in the team. Pep is obsessed with perfection and he tends to make weird changes from tactics to players for Manchester City squad in important matches in Champions League. It is easy to say things when matches already ended but I feel if Pep had not made such weird perfection-obsessed changes, Manchester City would have won Champions League.

In a new season, Manchester City will still be one of best candidates in Champions League but PSG with Messi will be the best one now, not Man City. If two clubs have a clash, I don't believe Man City will win.

Pep comes from Bielsa train of thought, you have to analyse your opponent’s games, trainings and everything, you have to learn as much as you can on the team you are playing against and accordingly change your system as well, defence specially changes a lot because you are playing against teams that will have different offensive strategy, your offense could always stay the same because after all why change it based on their defence if it works against all defences, but if there is a special situation, then you can make changes according to that as well.

This led Leeds to have a lot of injuries, not so much for City but it definitely did hurt them a lot because they were playing different all the time in many games. Yet you can't say they were not great, they were in semi-finals of UCL and won premier league 3 out of last 4 times which is an insane achievement.

Eh, Arsenal. Not a very nice way to start the season, but Brentford's pressing so high up really unnerved the Gunners in the first half, could easily have conceded another goal or two if the team were more skillful. They did play a lot better as second half progressed, thought they might score. Stopped watching at 60th minute, and then see they went on to lose.

So ruining our BTTS special on the very first game. Didn't even get any winnings done either as I parlayed Brentford with Monaco ha!

Even Messi is not the player to carry a team to success like he used to, sure he is still good but he is not what he used to be. If you pay him insane amount of money, get rid of 5-6 other high paid players, and hope that you end up doing well with that situation, not only you will not do well (even if you do) but you will also pay a 35+ year old Messi more money than top 5 stars in the world is getting combined, maybe that is a bit overstatement but he was getting 70 million a year.

I am sorry but I rather put Ansu Fati there who is not even close to messi, even now, but help him grow better and better, instead of paying 35 year old messi 70 million a year. It is just common sense to let a player go when they are creating a problem for the club, and he WAS a problem, not while playing, but financially he didn't worth the money he was getting anymore.

1. Arsenal already made sure 433/1 BTTS each MD1 game wouldn't hit but Wolves also failed to score so we won't get our money back;) 2. Leicester Wolves also didn't score in 2nd half, so we're also short on the 366/1 goal in every half of each MD1 game, but we could still get money back if the remaining 2 matches tomorrow get a goal in every half!
3. As Norwich couldn't score, the Utd/Liv/City to win and all teams to score at 25/1 is also down.
4. However, 10/1 on a goal in first half just needs tomorrow's 2 games to get a goal before 45th min to take us home so that's absolutely still alive.
5. Over 15.5 goals for both Home and Away goals at 85/10 does NOT look good for the away side, while we already booked 18 goals for the home side. 7 more goals from City and West Ham tomorrow really don't look likely haha but go Soucek and Antonio!

I go to bed happy with Liverpool bagging that one. Triple save from Alisson maintained our clean sheet near the end.

Hello, does anyone know why Sportsbet switched to a new sportsbook supplier for soccer only? For all other sports they still seem to use Betradar and therefore have the same odds as Betcoin, Stake etc. but for soccer they suddenly have totally different odds than those since last weekend......any idea if this is temporary or structural and if so, which odds provider they use now?

I personally think it's a pity since I liked the previous odds supplier a lot

@buywaytress I won’t be surprised if Arsenal perform poorly this season too, and it’ll be nothing less than a miracle if they make it to the top 4. Furthermore West Ham won their game quiet comfortably in the end, and it seems they’re a side that can make a surprise top 4 entry what are your thoughts on their performance?

I hope Arsenal will not perform bad again as it's already that they are not in Europe competitions and besides that Arteta has a full season to finally bring this team on top where it belongs. However this road is gonna be difficult as they always have injuries and EPL seems so balanced this year.

Hammers, they went down two goals to Steve Bruce and Newcastle, so that's not exactly the best display of what they can do, but if they carry on last season's form and keep scoring goals then maybe. They fell short last season but if Lingard somehow ends up with them again, yeah sure, why not? Don't feel like they'll get a better chance after 20/21 season though.

I only took two of the specials so I did not lose too much,,, I had a feeling it was going to be very hard to hit even 1 of them because always there is one game out of ten to let you down, and I guess our match was the one that did

But remember, this is not a marathon,,, nice to get a good start but now need to have consistency. Southampton and Arsenal have plenty of time to improve!
