This sounds like a big trouble for some matches, in Group B Iranhas to play with their biggest enemies United States and England.
I think France will have much easier task ahead compared to other group favorite, but match with Tunisia could be tricky for them.
Group C Argentina vs Mexico should be a great match and I think both of teams have big chance to advance.
I just saw odds for WC winner and lowest odds are Brazil, than France and England.

I never truly understood the appeal of tennis betting all that much. Don't get me wrong, if you like watching it, then wagering on something that you love watching makes 100% sense. But, when we comparing the fact that tennis is not the "highest" or even there of sports getting watched, but still higher than that when gambling ranked, that tells me that there are some people who gamble on it without really watching too much of it.

Or at the very least there is a bigger percentage of watchers that gamble on tennis than other sports. Why do you think that is? I am not sure why that is but I have always found that fascinating to me, and interesting.

When there are no games that you want to wager, its not really smart to wager just for wagering's sake. I get that some people love to wager and that is a great thing. However the reality is that 90%+ of the time if you wager on things that you do not want to wager and prefer others, then you are going to lose.

I like wagering on soccer and NBA for example and there are weeks when I do not wager at all during summers for example. I personally take summers off most of the time as well for personal reasons, I like to go to vacation places near my city, and do that frequently because its cheap since its very close and we are a poor nation and I earn with dollars. Just do not gamble if you do not want to gamble on these other things and wait for the club football to come back.

Group H gives me serious South Africa '10 WC vibes with Uruguay, Ghana, and South Korea being together.

The 1/4 final between Uruguay and Ghana was such a kino match, personal top 10. The Suarez handball in the last min of overtime, the missed pen by Ghana, then the panenka winner. What a WC that was for Uruguay, who also happen to knock out South Korea in the 1/8 finals.

Serbia against their Albanian friends from Switzerland looks great, emotionally and politically charged match, they faced each other in Russia but it wasn't as bad as it can actually go...

England USA, about time we get a matchup like this and hopefully we see some goals and an upset. Senegal have a tough group with the Dutch and Qataris (whom I think actually have a great squad no one is aware of) but I'll put something on them to reach semis if/when the outright happen.

Saints visit Leeds today and are the Super Boost offer. At almost 3/1, I think great value against a struggling Leeds with Bamford maybe fit.

England has good squad but I never see them as favorites to win any tournament, WC included. They will do good but then there will be knockout stage and they will loose 1:0 or on penalties against some proper tournament team like France. England has very good players on Wing positions and attack if Kane is in good form like at the moment but I don't rate the rest of the team that high.

Anyway, can Liverpool or City lose points today ? Personally, I don't see any of them losing points but after what I saw in the final for WC qualifiers between Egypt and Senegal , I fear that Salah and Mane are not in the same boat anymore but we will see. I mean we do have summers where there are zero club games at all, how do you sustain for that long if you can't skip just one week . All in all, I wagered on some of the games, thanks to Italy lost a good chunk, thanks to Portugal regained that chunk and now I am back to gambling on the club games all over again.

I really would love to get one, even considered buying one but between how the rate of Pounds is compared to my fiat, plus nearly as much for shipping as much because I live very far away, it became like 120 pounds total and we make like 250 pounds monthly here . I do understand the nations league shenanigans being hated, that was actually quite bad . But, this is world cup qualifiers we are talking about, not some nations league to get money that they lost during pandemic. World cup is one of the best entertainments in all of football and I love it, so qualifiers of it needs to happen for sure.

Even though my nation missed out and won't be going, we are used to it and haven't been there for a long time anyway. Aside from that I have no hatred towards it, because I know that even though this isn't the important game, it is qualifiers leading up to something great.

But, I do understand your point as well, league was going full steam ahead, and it gave a break . Maybe put them in early June? That way we could have qualifiers in early to late June, and late June to mid august the real world cup? But that would be bad for pre-season of the clubs? Not really sure.

I know it's not as simple as that (seasons play a part I guess, e.g. Africa not nice to play in the hottest months) but part of the problem is how the seasons don't sync. The Americas, Asia, all play a full season in a calendar year (Africa follows Europe I think for the most, but they start really late anyway might as well push it to start the next year).

Anyway, I'll take international over no football any day.

CL, EL & Conference League returns this week. Tomorrow we have Benfica vs LFC & Man City vs Atletico, hopefully a nice win for my beloved LFC & a really tough game for Man City. I really hope masters of the dark arts Atletico push Man City to the limit. As a Liverpool fan we could really do with Atletico tiring Man City out before Sunday which is in effect the biggest PL game of the last 10 years, maybe more when Man City vs LFC is played out in a potential title decider.

I have to say that is a wonderful idea, alternatives are definitely better than what we have right now. Like for example a big break during winter for the qualifiers could be a great deal, we already have few breaks her and there, which means that it shouldn't really change the way leagues take, it could still be late august or early September to late may for all the leagues with one month or even 2 weeks off during January for example.

Weather could be a problem in that case but I am sure that stadiums are good enough with heating under the pitch that it shouldn't be a big problem for that long, or at least that game could be postponed and would be just one game. It is a wonderful idea.

City at home against tougher opponent compared to Liverpool away against easier opponent, I am thinking both teams will be about equally tired for the derby in PL. But that should not make much difference in the end, no matter how tired both teams are they will give their everything in that one game. I don't know what comes next for them but if it is some cup game maybe we could have some surprises then.

Don't know if me complaining about it recently helped at all but Sporsbet now has multiple tennis handicaps Been waiting for this for a long time and time to use it. Still missing on some matches when I tried to play it in the morning but it gets added as the matches comes closer.
