That would be so cool for so many of you Liverpool fans. In that case allow me to say I bet Spurs is also open to sponsorship, I mean I am pretty much used to seeing AIA already and I think it is a big longterm deal but there is always a bit of noise about them in the current condition of climate discussions so I wonder if they would consider a different move too.

It does make me think about what makes a club choose a sponsor these days, is it anymore identity or not really? I thought United always has American companies because of the owners but then Liverpool does not have American companies on the shirt.

Considering the current Watford deal is closer to like 6-10 million range, I am pretty sure that they would need like 4x more to get that type of deal, lol. I mean they could very well just offer like 25% of the whole business, as an offer, which I believe the remaining 75% will worth more than the 100% they currently have which is not a bad decision.

But, there is definitely some sort of law that would prevent that, which team could even have ownership over a place that could make them richer by just losing a game lol. At the end of the day, whoever picks that up, will end up taking a huge risk. Just because they have been good so far, there is no guarantee they will still be awesome in the next 5 years.

Jesus, knowing there would be plenty of goals and missing 6.5 bet with just 1 goal is horrible. Like if it was 2.5 goals and it was 2 goals then it would be normal and I would understand it, but at the end of the day it's unlucky and there is nothing he could do. Maybe he could have cashed out early when he saw that the bet was already huge.

I never really wagered this much, my biggest was 8 games once and I lost that very horribly, like the very last game just like this where Bayern out of all teams lost, it was a horrible feeling. Not my expertise and I don't pretend to know what the math behind the sponsorship deals is. Just saying that Liverpool will maybe end up with crypto sponsor which is huge for crypto in general. It is not my expertise either, but considering the size of the sponsorships so far, and combining that with the fact that Southampton is in the same league (I have no idea when the sponsorship ends) we are looking at a bit of a hard situation for sportsbet.io to handle this. Could they afford it? I have no idea, I do not know their financials, and I do not know if LFC will keep on being a great team for the next many years, they are not like Southampton who is out of sponsorship, they are Liverpool and they may win UCL this year so they will look at many years contract. I remember some time ago getting quite nauseous from watching too many El Clasico in a short periods, and by that time also, while being the two best teams in La Liga, they probably weren't exactly the two best in Europe, so the games began to get sluggish and safe.

So yeah, City-Liverpool have been 2-2, 2-2, 3-2 this season, but if they meet in the CL final, it's going to be a tight, testy affair. Too much at stake for either side.

I mean it wasn't really a hard bet neither, it was obvious that Liverpool was the better team and the only doubt people had in their minds was the fact that Bayern was a difficult opponent as well and somehow Villareal managed to beat them, so the only question mark was if they did that to Bayern, could they do that Liverpool as well.

As we have seen, Liverpool is not like Bayern and they managed to win that game. The high pressure is the biggest point Liverpool managed to beat Villareal on, both teams had high pressure as soon as the other team got the ball and it was full pitch pressure, but Liverpool is great at passing so they had easier time and it was a clear bet for sure. I wagered only on Liv win straight up, that wasn't bad return neither.

I really do not believe that there is any underdogs at that level. If you reached finals of UCL then the two teams are equals and will always be equals in my mind. Even a few years ago when Spurs was in the finals and everyone believed it was impossible for them to get the cup, I still believed it was 50-50% because in a single game match I would not bet on anyone to be a guaranteed thing.

If Liverpool faces Real they both would have 50% chance to win, same goes City with Liverpool. In fact, I believe this so much so that I think Liverpool is not clearly in the finals anymore, it could be like 90% chance but it is never 100% guaranteed at all. Remember that 3-0 to 4-0 return Liverpool did to Barcelona a few years ago, everyone would have lost hope if it was that simple.

What I believe is the same -- we are as good as City, and can match them any day, 1 win and 2 draws in the last meeting does underline how close it is, but the odds on all past 3 games have always put City as the favourite, even if barely so (about 2/1 as opposed to Liverpool 3/1 or more).

So it doesn't matter what I or you believe, the odds prove where the money is, even if I'm sure Liverpool has the bigger fanbase, the money's on City.
