I did not try it with this promo but it was possible in the past. You could have paid with any of the cryptocurrencies Sportsbet accepts. They just auto-deduct from the wallet you have on at the time of joining.

For those who do not have USDT balance available, i can confirm that it works 100% with BTC...around 0.3mbtc at the moment.

This will be my fourth attempt (really, third), as i missed the last round's deadline. My first try scored 5 out of 10, but it could have easily been 8 or 9.
