If you broadcast your transaction and that's accepted by a node, it doesn't necessarily mean that your transaction is accepted by other nodes too.
Each node can have its own standard rules and it's possbile that one node has your transaction in its mempool while another node doesn't.

OK I think I got it too, thanks for explanation as well as Pmalek but I always thought node was actually running the Bitcoin software as part of the network (validating txs) and I thought Wallet users like for sure Sportsbet is, is only a client (light client or whatever you want to call it).

Anyway, just dropping in on the sub1 sat/byte convo between Pmalek/slaman29/hosemary. Could be wrong but thought since I see nodes and clients being mentioned -- it's probably technical and non-critical and maybe not even a distinction these days but... if you're running a node (which means you yourself validate), you would definitely need to update the rules of your node to ensure you see all these newly "allowed" txs.

However, if you're only running a wallet client, then you need to ensure the node(s) you're connecting to for blockchain information reflect(s) the newly allowed rules. No need for a software update.

Something tells me Sportsbet does not run a node for its platform's wallet and/or payment processor... so their payment processor's node(s) are the ones who would need to update or if SB can do it from their client, then they only need to make sure they're connecting to nodes that reflect the <1 sat rules.

Maybe there was some glitch with trezor software, but I think you can use Electrum wallet with your Trezor, or run your own bitcoin node.

I don't think there was a glitch. I even restarted the software just to be sure but there were no changes until the transaction was confirmed on-chain. I am not aware that there are any Electrum servers right now that accept the signing and broadcasting below 1 sat/vByte transactions. Even if there are, I don't think it will be announced anywhere.

It is expected everything to be slower if you are using below 1 sat/vByte transaction fees.

Yes, that's expected. It depends on the mempool state of course. I had one consolidation transaction that confirmed within 3 hours but another one with even less fees has been lingering as unconfirmed for the 4th day now.

Game changer? Hmm. This piqued my interest. It clearly seems soccer related due to the jerseys in the image implying that more stats related to each team before a match might be shown to aid our betting decisions.
