Newcastle United want to join Champions League and they're currently not too far from top four in point differences. It's good enough for Newcastle United because they can climb up to top four if they have good results in coming matches, but there are big challenges from above clubs that want to appear in top four and participate in Champions League next season.

There are 7 clubs above Newcastle United but luckily the fourth club is Notttingham Forest have 28 points, only 5 points more than Newcastle United. The main challenge for Newcastle United is they will have to beat many above competitors to get that fourth position, including one strong competitor Manchester City.

You have a respected player saying its mental and psychological and then you have Pep disagreeing with him, so you know for sure something is wrong.
