I also think same when i see the video on BBC of his interview he was like a proud person over confident person. How he faked his signed message instead of signing new message with original private key makes its all clear he don't have access to those keys. Lets see how this story will end.

what's so bad about what he wrote.

he wanted to talk to gavin and really prove to him that he is satoshi, proof beyond simply proving he owns SN's keys.

and now he will soon prove to us that he owns SN's keys.

So, over the coming days, I will be posting a series of pieces that will lay the foundations for this extraordinary claim, which will include posting independently-verifiable documents and evidence addressing some of the false allegations that have been levelled, and transferring bitcoin from an early block.

Wow what a showman. He is going to lay it all down for our simple minds.
Piece by piece he is going to explain everything, then and only then, he is going to perform the miracle.
Oh man, I can't wait. I sure hope this gets dragged out over the course of a few days to weeks. /s

you see this that is ok???

It doesn’t – and shouldn’t – matter to the Bitcoin community.

I cannot deny that my interest in bringing the origins of Bitcoin into the light is ultimately and undeniably a selfish one – the only person to whom this should matter is me.

"It doesn’t – and shouldn’t – matter to the Bitcoin community."

It does matter to the bitcoin community - because the bitcoin community (such that it is) is still in its adolescent stage. Its father has been absent for most of its life and and its been mocked and ridiculed for quite a while now. It worked better for the bitcoin "community" when it could kid itself that its absent father was vague, indeterminate and possibly benevolent.

It was better when my father looked like this  Wink

Or this -

Or this -

Or this -

It shouldn't matter, no.

But it obviously does.

But hey, maybe when we've grown up a bit ? Who knows.

This was a reasonable post on Dr. Wright's part, but it certainly would have made more sense yesterday.

The blog post reminded of a phrase I've heard/read a few times recently RE: RE: Dr. Wright's coming out party.  I have a little quibble with the phrase "cryptographic miracle" and perhaps Dr. Wright's choice in using it should be scrutinized (disclaimer: I'm not sure if he or his representatives used the phrase originally - could be media foot-in-mouth disease).  In any case,  it is worth noting that it is NOT a cryptographic miracle to move your own coins, BUT it would be a cryptographic miracle to move somebody else's coins w/o authorization.

Either way things play out...I am thoroughly entertained.

This is better than any book or movie...is he? isn't he?

I tend to err on the side of caution and won't believe him until those early coins move.

"cryptographic miracle" doesn't appear anywhere on that post.

I don't get why all the drama. If it's really him, just move a coin from the first block and be done with it.

Correct, this might have been a month ago when this story re-surfaced, can't remember now.

Dr Wright says he wrote the first blog post to show off his intellectual capabilities. Forcing everyone to read that wall of waffle just annoyed us all, especially when it contained zero proof. He should just sign a message from the genesis block and post it on his blog, if he can.

The trouble is that Dr Wright's blog has not convinced the wider public.

He had told me last week that he intended it to be convoluted. He wanted to show those who doubted his intellectual capabilities that he really knew what he was talking about - instead he has managed to make them more suspicious.

Satoshi works in mysterious ways

Really? Everything I've read from "satoshi" has been very clear and concise. His open source code speaks for itself.

While the identity of satoshi may be a mystery, I would say that his work is as clear as it gets.

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.
