Yes if you buy 10k MNM on an exchange and register your address on the Mineum platform you will get dividends.

From the day you reach at least 10k mnm in one address, and register that address in mymineum.org , you become a shareholder and start receive dividends from that day.
If you go under 10k, you stop be a shareholder.

i like this idea so just by saving or placing 10k inside the wallet it will generate income not bad dev, let see and place good position now to acquire and to save 10k inside my wallet i'll check this thread again and joined the slack after i gather the coin.

The dividend is calculated automatically, based upon your shareholder position for the month of September.   That means that if you happened to, let's say, buy a lot of mineum at the end of September, it does not mean that your dividend payout for the month would be calculated based upon that number of mineum in your shareholder address.  The dividend averages out what your position was over the entire month.

The dividend comes directly from mining activity which can be influenced by many different variables such as the number of GPU miners that are active, the profitability of mining over that time period, which mining algorithm was used.  So the potential is there for your dividend to increase in size in the coming months.
