Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

i am happy to announce that we manage to make the pool working and we found our first 2 blocks: XVP txid: 2c8016c8e8e734e7a62ccd864dc55dd02d60efc4bc7b238848f6fbcba9afccf8 XVP txid: 58a630f5d6b28e4a96eb5724a3cfe234af5e4a6d14f7763ac775527c0cbb99f2 This is good news, as we work hard to make the code of p2pool compatible with Pos/Pow wallet. only code we need to adjust it is the web interface of the p2pool that show wrong block info, but we are on right track. |
