Yeah, not sure what's going on there.  When I told the owner yesterday that Brit's explorer wasn't showing recent blocks he said he would remove it and re-add it.  But you notice none of the other coins' explorers on CryptoBE show recent blocks either.

i guess this ANN needs to be translated into some languages for the benefit of some non-english traders and investors, on that case i can do the Filipino translation.

Well I guess this means it worked:

Just need to get that volume bit looking a bit better now!

Been pondering the fact the pound has steadily decreased in value lately what with Brexit worries etc. Rather good timing for BritCoin to offer some idea of a change.

Right then guys, what's next?  Smiley

Can you airdrop the 10m coins? lol.

What kind of info you after? :8]

Thanks again to xCore and mammix2 for the help with this hard fork.  Please everyone keep an eye on your BRIT news channels as there will be another hard fork before the end of year to slow the block time and introduce a maximum staking age.

You know, the usual stuff that traders crave. Info. Plans. What's going to happen to 50% of the coins? That kind of thing Smiley

I've been putting off releasing the roadmap for Brit because of the long delay in this fork.  I wrote a draft that was presented to the investor, which I will now go over a few times and update etc. Smiley

I hope this doesn't spell some kind of 'giving up'. Clearly a longer chain which didn't have the dev coins released ended up being accepted by at least the block explorer. My wallet synced fine though after having gone through the hard fork and I'm staking ok, so I'm guessing we're on two relatively equally sized forks now?

No giving up here!  We are all on a chain in which the new coins became un-minted due to someone with a v3.0.0.1 wallet staking.  Unfortunately I was still unable to get the majority of my coins synced in a wallet in time to stake and I think Leigh was in the same boat, opening us up to this kind of attack.  (We only just learned about the "sync then run -rescan" trick being much faster.)  I didn't think that the blockchain history would be rewritten past a thousand blocks, but that seems to be what happened.  Don't know whether this attack was intentional or not.

Is anyone on a chain in which the new coins are still minted?

Mo

No in fact anything I staked after the fork is now orphaned and I'm on the 10m chain.

Starting to think the way round this would be to launch a whole new BRIT with a 1:1 swap?

This happened to me as well. Around 25 stakes in a row are orphaned now when they were accepted before.

Thought I'd let people know that I am still staking nicely without any issues.
I'll just keep topping up on the Britcoins then.  Wink
