I'd have to agree, since the block halving is coming close, more media attention, and a couple big companies starting to accept BTC, the price has a very reasonable chance to rise IMHO.

That's a tricky question, I don't expect the price to drop to $400 again but I believe there may still be opportunities to buy at slightly better prices. You probably won't save a lot though so all things considered I would say yea now is a good time to buy. You could also consider buying the 5 BTC in smaller chunks over a longer period of time but there will be risks however you decide to do it.

You are right, at the same time without much effort getting a good amount as profit is not possible every time as halving occurs only at certain interval of time. One more risk factor is that none is sure only rise occurs on halving.

1) BTC pumps after halving. Then it is a great time to buy.

2) BTC goes sideways (same price) after halving. Then it don't matter much.

3) BTC goes down after halving. Then it was a bad time to buy

It is difficult to say. The price might have already responded to the halving. The price might not rise after the halving.

That is a nice thing that you can do and that is because there are also now more people that is going to have some Bitcoin so that is really nice.

yes this is actually very good moment to buy bitcoins even if price is large now, and it will keep rising but still, later price will be too large to buy and you will lose possible profit

price now is 520$ but in 2 months price probably will be 1000$ because of halving so you will be able to sell your bitcoins for much more than you spent now to buy them

actually this is not best time to buy some bitcoins as price is large now and still rises so you will get less profit than you could, but you shouldn't wait for price dump too as it probably won't happen

so you should just buy these bitcoins asap before even larger price rise to get most profit as you can after halving, don't be afraid of large price like 580$ as it will be larger later

The current moment can be trick because it may well be we will see a stable price around 570 dollar for the coming month. The same we had 1 month ago when the price was 450- 470.

that is what makes the difference. to be a bitcoin trader or bitcoin long term holder.

i always say that you have to decide between these two. if you are a trader then you buy on each dip and sell high and take the profit to do this the next day too.
but if you are a long term investor (holder) then you have to buy as soon as you get money in you hands (preferably in a dip) and then don't check the price each day until your time arrives and then sell or do whatever else you wanted to do then. but stop worrying about every little bump on the road.

With the 'hacks' like the Bitfinex one from a few days ago, I'd say THIS is the perfect moment to buy a lot of BTC, because it will recover soon and that means just profit. People will believe again in it, we have to wait some time until their fear will be gone.

Price will rise at the end of the year, and the current price drop will not have any major impact on the mindsets of the people, in fact people will prefer to buy at this stage.

120 k bitcoin will not be used for sometime. So that is a kind of holding. It could reduce the number of coins in circulation.

Honestly we dont still know if the hacker sold all bitcoins in his pocket.. its still risky to buy huge amount but i think  they are also waiting for the price increase

Do not worry about the future, price will be definitely higher in future so concentrate at a moment in buying as many coins as possible to generate higher profits in future.

That is right. The bitcoin price has risen more than 100 times since 5 years ago. I think it will also rise 100 times in the next 5 years.

The price going down has not much to do with Ethereum. When Bitcoin is calm, certain people try their luck with Ethereum as it is the hot thing right now. It generates huge volumes combined with volatility. People follow the money, but they won't dump down Bitcoin because they want to hop over to Ethereum.

It's probably not a bad time to buy while the price is still below $600. I think you will see gains by the end of the year if you buy now, but there's no way to know for sure.
