Bitcoin is already an international currency as many countries are using for their business. Even in some countries governments are also involving in bitcoin. Soon many more countries will use bitcoin for their personal need and as well as business.

It's already a currency, cryptocurrency. From what I understand, Bitcoin is already being applied in the whole world, not everywhere but it is known to people that have knowledge of it. Bitcoin is a decentralized money, so there's no point of telling that it needs to go international, it just says that it doesn't belong to one place. When you say global, it means the majority of it are staying in an area, let's say some country. And you are planning to go to other countries; then that is it. That's international.

Bitcoin is not in one place; no one controls it. No one owns it.

you are right, Bitcoin is already an international currency. It is used in each country and many people.

Bitcoin is designed to go global and it is doing it. We people are the once that are blessed with this opportunity to use it and to be a part of this amazing revolution.

We can say that bitcoin could use worldwide without any restrictions but it doesn't mean bitcoin already become international currency as USD or Euro, I mean bitcoin less known than anothers international currencies.

People discuss it because it is not yet international in that sense, people are talking about bitcoin being international by means that it should be legalized and used worldwide between countries like how USD or other currencies are used.

Bitcoin its already an international currency, even without countries doesnt recognize it as a currencie yet, that doesnt matter at this stage, bitcoin has found its space and its growing, soo till there we can have our bitcoins without have to pay tax, something that i believe will happen on the next 10-20 years, since bitcoin will be worthing more then gold on those period.

I think you means is bitcoin can used for transfering worldwide, not to be worldwide currency which every country is regulated as currency and people freely to using it.
Bitcoin become growing is right, even fast but to be international currency stage, bitcoin is just take for one step. This have a possibility more country ratify bitcoin, but there's need more step too.

We'll probably be able to say that we saw the start of it and participated in it, but most of us would have done next to nothing for the actual advancement of Bitcoin or whatever crypto that comes after it. As much as we all want to be able to tell our kids we did something as revolutionary as getting a new currency to become accepted globally, chances are not many of us will ever get to that point.

I think we can all support bitcoin by using it.
Making payments, as small as they might be, with bitcoin helps to keep the circle of bitcoin flow going.
In that way we can all be part of this new currency, and when we later tell somebody that we were amongst the pioneers of this revolution, it's completely the truth.

I think bitcoin can be international currency someday. But for now i'm not sure bitcoin can be that. I mean, bitcoin still have many weakness and bitcoin must solve it.
I agree with you, this time bitcoin will not become an international currency, because there are few places where bitcoin was considered illegal because they can easily buy drugs. and the transactions are very difficult in the pan
Yes, in many countries bitcoin is considered as illegal as more then 70% of its transactions are done for some other activities as its famous in deep web, markets like silk road so, it will take years I think to become a international currency.
Agree with your point of view. In my country, bitcoin is not widely circulated, there are no shops, supermarkets, coffee shops can be paid in bitcoin, some people think bitcoin is a scam.If bitcoin want to become an international currency, probably also need decades of development.
Now it is a question of when and how fast it will become more widely spread or more mass adopted or more ubiquitous as well as being accepted as payment for more goods and services.

I think we have to call it as international currency because those people who have got knowledge about bitcoin are already accepting it in any part of the world and it is not restricted to any country of the world every person can adopt it without any limit and can use it like their own currency. So I think these are enough for bitcoin to be called as international currency.

Yes it's boundless feature has enabled bitcoin to become an international currency.

Another thing, bitcoin is boundless its because any person in the world who can access internet can access bitcoin.

And sure in 20 years time there will be a possibility that bitcoin will not only be a international currency but also the official legal tender when the world turns into a cashless society. It is clear now that the countries whose banks are about to fall, their citizens are purchasing bitcoins.
If in fact bitcoin is the answer then governments are going to just create their own bitcoin and sell it like crazy to the general population which instead of getting the real thing they are going to be fooled once again into accepting fiat in another form.

USA and japan were regulated bitcoin as payment option. If those big country start to accept bitcoin, I think its possible for bitcoin to being international currency, and if its happen people will get so many advantage like no need to exchange or tax.

USA and japan were regulated bitcoin as payment option. If those big country start to accept bitcoin, I think its possible for bitcoin to being international currency, and if its happen people will get so many advantage like no need to exchange or tax.
yeah, i think so. But if it happen, many traders will move to another crypto or anything else. Because bitcoin will have stabile price, and it will make small amount profit for traders.  Cry
Maybe it will have a stable price or maybe it will go up as it will have a higher demand. I don't think its possible for them to use other kinds of currency, the nearest that Bitcoin can be use as payment is when converting it to Fiat which is definitely accepted by everyone in their respective countries. Also Bitcoin as payment is a choice of a person/business its up to them on how the handle the volatility.

maybe you're right. when bitcoin has been accepted all over the world, and began to be used as an international currency, I think all countries will make the prices fixed for bitcoin. so, it causes loss to the trader, and force them to look for another cryto

We can say that bitcoin could use worldwide without any restrictions but it doesn't mean bitcoin already become international currency as USD or Euro, I mean bitcoin less known than anothers international currencies.

Your argument is not valid. USD or Euro are just two from many other currencies. You mentioned two maybe from the top of the list, but where are others? Bitcoin have higher market cap then many countries in the world, bitcoin can be exchanged for a lot of things now, on many places.
By the way I just looked what wikipedia have to say about this question, definition is there, take a look if you dont trust me.
