Although it exist virtually in the net, it can be traded and used to buy commodities in different trading centers. It has no boundaries as well and is accepted even by different government entities all over the world.
This is also used in the underground transactions for a long time already. Now that it has gone mainstream, it will continue to gain recognition in all kinds of trading including stocks, foreign exchange and as mode of payment for merchandises purchased online and offline. And in the future, there will also be a Bitcoin Card.

Bitcoin is truly an international currency which is agreed by most of the bitcoin users. This is been recently once again confirmed by one of the bitcoin enthusiast vinny lingham stating that bitcoin was found stable and make the financial hardness less when countries like china made a devaluation and India making crisis by its much decreased circulation of fiat.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?
If it becomes international currency I suppose it will hit 1000$ price and for sure maybe this forum becomes much more popular. LOL.
Bitcoin reached $1000 a few days ago, but did not become an international currency, there are still many countries do not recognize, such as the United Kingdom, Columbia. I think bitcoin is still a few years away from the international currency, maybe 5 to 10 years

the bitcoin rate have nothing to do with whether it's an international currency or not but a regulation which is created by some government could affect, although it's actually already an international currency but not recognised by many countries, most of the countries were recognise bitcoin as a digital assets or property unfortunately

The thing preventing Bitcoin from being an international currency isn't recognition, but volatility. It can't maintain a stable value, which is absolutely critical of any currency. Look what happened when it hit $1100 most recently: it dropped 20% in a day and then has been extremely wild since. People aren't using it as a currency right now so much as a speculation vehicle. For as long as that continues, it will never be a "currency."

You are wrong man, bitcoin never being international currency until government accept bitcoin as an alternative currency for now can be said bitcoin still play on darkness area. i've think we should not think about it but need an action to make it some true maybe you have question like what, try to build your own business that accept bitcoin as a payment, that's one an example.

yes there is no doubt about this that bitcoin is a universal currency or international currency, because bitcoin is already present in all over the world and its population is increasing from time to time.

I think that would be wonderful - and I also think it will happen sometime in the future-. Bitcoin is just a perfect one to be an international currency, not being regulated, made by any country and therefore no one has central authority over it..

Using BTC and it being converted automatically to the equivalent in the local currency for the merchant trader is probably the one that might happen soon, but it still would be used as BTC and the buyer wouldn't need to exchange it manually.

Bitcoin decrease that fast not like other currency , Bitcoin is good even in the future there are lots of features are waiting but we do not know what is it . We can't just predict on what will happen. It can be a international currency but only for digital where people can only use bitcoin for investment and tradings. Technology are upgrading we can't just stick to one but there are posilibities that soon bitcoin can have atm machines where it easy to withdraw or exchange into real money.

It would be wonderful if bitcoin can be an international currency, you can go anywhere and pay goods and services with bitcoin. But it's hard to get every government to acknowledge bitcoin as they want full control over currency in their country. Don't worry OP, I like this thread.

I think it will be very great growth of bitcoin in this era. For nowadays the majority of bitcoin's user is still difficult to found proper place to use their bitcoin.

No problem if bitcoin is crypto currency That would be the added value of one of the features of the bitcoin

Agree, As we all know bitcoin is a worldwide currency and many countries adopted it and making wallet application in their countries so I agree that bitcoin is useful in aspect that the transaction is fast and you can send bitcoin worldwide within just a few seconds and it's hassle free. So I agree that bitcoin is the international currency now, and in terms of illegal activity money is money you can use it in bad or in good way.

You are right and while we cannot stop the countries to ban it but at the same time there is a humongous growth in countries like India call it for whatever reason, may it be government decisions and structure or let it be people getting digitized.

I hope there comes a time when bitcoins are just another currency like USD, INR, EUR, etc which have a worth of their own in every single country.

YeaH exactly that came to my mind when I saw this thread for the first time, International currency means that is allowed and transacted between people among different countries which obviously bitcoins do allow.
The problem is that becoming a legal currency is what might never happen since the government would apply taxes which is impossible in bitcoins, being it transparent why would people pay tax and they can simply hide their earnings.
